Eye Centers of Florida - LaBelle

This place is seriously a joke. I went in there over a month ago for an appointment on Friday, the only day they're open. I scheduled it for first thing when they open so that I could quickly get everything done and then get back to work. Well, after over an hour of just waiting (when only one other person was even there to get an appointment before me) I complained and asked if I needed to reschedule my appointment, because I don't have time to wait over an hour to even be seen. After that the doctor came out, apologized, said she'd be right with me, etc. She took me back fifteen minutes later, and she wanted me to try a new contact brand - no big deal, I'm willing to try, but I have used the same brand for over ten years and my eyes are very sensitive. About two weeks later I call to order contacts - nobody answers. I call Lehigh location, get redirected to LaBelle's location and have to leave a voicemail. I leave a voicemail two different times. No calls back, can never get ahold of anyone. Finally I go in on Friday (7/19) to go in person and request contacts. Well, the doctor is gone for the next month or so and she only approved for me to get the brand of contacts that she had me test. So now I can't order my old ones until they get this sorted out and another doctor approves the old contacts. I say okay, and ask her to call me back when it's sorted out. I went early in the morning so figured she would call me back that day. No. Now it is Tuesday, I call Lehigh location, explain the situation, get forwarded to Ruth Morales, and she doesn't answer so I leave a voicemail. How much longer until I can get my prescription??

The peolpe there was very nice. They had a lot of nice frames to choose from. I was greeted with a smile and the person that helped me knew her job. The place was neat and clean. I got two pairs for 99.00 which was great. I'd recommend eye centers of florida to anyone that needs knew glasses.

I didn't have to wait but a few minutes which is huge. Everyone was friendly and professional. I did not have enough time to pick out frames so I'm going back for that. And they told me I could even check selections of frames at their other locations if there was something specific I wanted. I was happy with them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service. Called in with a simple question, and was put on hold for over 5 minutes. When someone finally picked up the line it was apparent I was a bother to her, and she made me feel like I was taking up her time. She explained to me she couldn't talk about the topic over the phone (which is fine because of HIPPA), but when I asked if I could go in person to get my question answered, she gave me a different answer saying that what I was asking was "the customers responsibly to know". After she proceeded to give me the most unprofessional phone experience- which included talking over my voice as I tried to explain my situation- she very sarcastically said "is there anything else I can help you with". I asked for her name, which was Angela. Needless to say, I will not ever visit this location.

Top notch customer service. My wife didn't have to travel to the Fort Myers location to anymore. The doctor was very thorough (unlike the Fort Myers location) and made sure my wife's prescription was correct. The optical department was very professional and helpful.

Never answer when I need contacts always says they are close or it says are too busy to answer calls . Also they have a pretty rude front desk person.
