America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I just wanted to let everybody know that this place was awesome. I was greeted by Emily the most friendly and kind person I've meet in a long time. I walked in thinking my appointment was at 0930hrs and found out I was a day early ( yup definitely needed glasses) and instead of her just letting me know she looked at the schedule and got me in the same day. She was awesome and a great help. The doctor then saw me and got my prescription details and I then met with Logan the GM and she helped me out a ton. Since I've never worn glasses and I don't know squat about them she was a great help and did not push me to get expensive ones or anything I didn't need as well as gave me her honest opinion how the glasses looked on me! That meant a lot to me to know that the glasses actually fit with the shape of my face . My overall experience there was a 10/10 and if I could give more then 5 stars I would've! If you are looking for a great experience then look no further because this establishment is second to none!!! Thank yall again for a wonderful first time experience!!

Let me tell you about my experience at the Merchants Walk location in Lakeland. I had a terrible experience at My Eye Doctor and decided to give Americas Best a try. From the moment I walked in the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The doctor took his time with me and held great conversation during my exam. The technicians were friendly and helpful as well. I picked out my glasses. I asked specifically if the glasses could be adjusted so they didn't sit on my cheeks. My ears sit high on my head which cause a lot of glasses to tilt down touching my chubby cheeks. I was told they could. A week or so later my glasses arrived. The technician worked and worked on the glasses. He did all he could do to fit my glasses properly. He was professional and really good at his craft. They seemed to be good so I left. As the days went on the glasses became more and more uncomfortable and started digging into the side of my nose. I took them back in. This time the general manager, Logan helped me. She tried her best to get the glasses adjusted to my wonky head. They felt better. Before I left, she told me to bring them back if I felt the need and she would be happy to fit me in another pair. Well low and behold, they just were not the right glasses for me. I loved them. Well, I loved the look of them, but they just did not fit and no matter how much I wanted them to fit, it just wasn't going to happen. When I brought them back Logan helped me again. She actually helped me pick out a new frame. She gave me honest feedback and got me into a pair of glasses that looked better on my face than what I picked out before. When I came back in to pick up my new glasses, Logan fitted me, adjusted the frames and made sure they fit comfortably. The store was slammed. It was a Saturday. She took her time with me and never made me feel like I was a bother or rushed. I cannot recommend this store enough. Every person in the place was fantastic. I hope America's Best knows what a super star they have with their general manager, Logan.

Logan is top tier! If you go in ask for her! She made sure I was good at all times, answered all my questions, she jokes with you, makes sure you're comfortable with what you're buying. She made the experience worth going here. The girl that did the pre-eye test seemed like she was in a rush to get back to the other employees to talk. The actual eye dr. He was nice but overall felt kinda off, idk how to explain it but he answered my questions and just did his thing and then I was out.

The only eye doctor I have ever been to that won't give you a trial pair of contact lenses to make sure that the prescription strength is right before you order a box. Staff was super dismissive and basically looked at my like o was stupid and said they don't do that if the brand hasn't changed. I tried to explain that this was a new prescription strength and I wanted to be sure it was the correct one for my eyes before spending my money. They just expect you to buy a 200+ dollar contact order and hope that the new prescription strength is correct. Will be going somewhere else.

I could not have asked for better service from Andrea and Logan. They're not only assisted me was finding glasses that explained to me about the anti-glare and now I'm looking forward to seeing so much better. Since my daughter wasn't with me to help me pick out a frame, Andrea help me pick out a frame and it was the same one I picked out so I knew it was right. America's Best is the best! Thank you so much for your assistance tonight.

I had a great experience at America's Best at 3615 S Florida Ave! Logan Dibble, the General Manager, went out of her way to try and fix the glasses I bought. After countless attempts over weeks, she took the time today to help me choose another pair, explained in depth the differences in lenses, and made sure I left with something that truly worked for me. She is amazing! I will definitely continue coming to this store! Thank you Logan!

Logan was extremely professional and skilled with her repair of my glasses that I was turned down by other optometrists, saying they could not be repaired. Logan was also able to identify the quality of my frames, and though the repair looked bleak, she took no negative stance on doing her very best to take on a challenge and be my hero. S tier service, will go back again.

I just want to give a huge shoutout to the amazing team at America's Best! My son is very hard on his glasses; let's just say a game of dodgeball didn't go his way, and I ended up walking in with his glasses in a Ziplock bag (yes, really). Logan was absolutely wonderful! She gave us her full attention, took those poor, mangled glasses like a surgeon taking a patient into the ICU, and within 10 minutes had them looking brand new again. I was amazed! Then Desiree stepped in and helped us order a new pair of Ray-Bans after my son's mysteriously "walked off" during P.E. She was kind, patient, and super helpful through the whole process. Thank you both for being so friendly, caring, and fast while getting the job done right. You made what could've been a stressful visit actually fun and my son can see again! Thank you guys soooo muchhhh!!!
