America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I recently sat on my glasses and bent the frame while doing. I did not buy these glasses at America's Best but I did have an eye exam and bought two pair of glasses the previous year at America's Best. I walked inside and asked if somebody could take a look at my glasses, and Joanne from the Lakeland Park Center Drive took a look at them, used a tool to pop the frame back in place, and in less than a minute I was able to see again. Thank you so much Joanne, I recently started a new job and also need to see for school. It's people like you that make America's Best.

I honestly never take the time to give written reviews, but this time it was a superb service by all the staff, specially by Alexa. She was my one to one person, her honesty, she didn't rush me at all in making my decision as to what was better for me eye contacts and/or eye glasses. Thank you Alexa & America's Best!

This was my first experience with America's Best and I am very satisfied. I was greeted as soon as I came in and was seen fairly quickly (it was Saturday). The tech Alexa and the doctor were both very nice and answered all questions I had. I came with my two young children who decided to act up a little bit. Alexa noticed this as I was trying to pick out frames and she sat them down and had them draw me a little picture! The other optical tech who was helping me (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) was very nice and helped me find glasses in my preferred style quickly while Alexa sat with my kids. (Thank you both for that, I'm sure if it was busier they couldn't have done that but it meant a lot). I should be getting my new glasses soon so we will see how the glasses and lenses compare to my previous provider! Thank you!

I recently got new glasses from America's Best this is my 3rd time getting them there. However this time my peripheral vision while wearing my glasses was completely blurry. I went in and advised them of this. I had the most polite and helpful young man working with me (12/16 @ approx 1245). He was reviewing my prescription, comparing the glasses I am wearing vs the new ones doing everything he could think of. He says let me get my manager he asks her and instead of her caring like he does she says the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. She said your prescription changed slightly which will cause you to lose peripheral vision while wearing your new glasses. Let's think about that, there were four employees in there and my vision isn't that bad so none of them have peripheral vision? My spouse has horrible vision and crazy as this maybe she has peripheral vision with her glasses. Your managers lack of concern about my glasses was ridiculous, she never even left her seat. She gave me a refund without hesitation, in five minutes she lost two customers. I work with a lot of people who I will gladly advise of this. You should hire more people like the young man.

They were always amazing! Everybody was so kind and generous, and the doctors specifically was extremely helpful. I'm new to contacts and she explained everything perfectly and was so kind!

Well the 1 star was supposed to be temporarily until November 2025 but this place that that I entered there for the 3rd time but with shoes on. I only entered there twice & was barefoot but they argued to my brother because they thought that the one in shoes was me. Have fun speaking to corporate as I resorted the issue with you all calmly, including cancelling my appointment but you sure flipped out when my brother showed up. He's NOT a barefooter. I'm the only generation barefooter in the family tree. Thanks for getting corporate on my side as now I know the chain IS barefoot friendly but you just lost 3 customers in the same day. Congratulations for messing up Julie (Julius?) & whoever that male manager was. Anyone else, you probably have nothing to worry about that didn't have a problem that I was barefoot, you should have nothing to worry about in terms of your jobs as most of you ignored the problem and I thank you for that. :-) _______________________________ For anyone else, just avoid this place if you don't want to get vented at for any reason: - If you wear shoes, I'd probably go to Optical Outlet in the same plaza, near Dollar Tree. - If you're a barefooter or are autistic, I'd advise to go to MyEyeDr near Wal-Mart on US 98N or American Best near the south Lakeland Hobby Lobby. ___________________________________ Don't think about removing this review as the 2nd time I'll post it on here again & the 3rd time I'll be the one reporting you to corporate.

John the manager is such a great manager. I had a little issue and he insured it was fixed and made me feel heard thank you John I appreciate you

They were very helpful the whole staff and Joanne was a pleasant experience to have as an optician.
