Dr. Jonell Gill

I was so disappointed in this eye clinic! I would like to say Dr. Gill herself was great! However, the rest of my experience there wasn't. To start I had to wait over 45 minutes to be seen and when I asked how long the wait would be was never given an answer. The staff although generally not rude definitely were not friendly and did not make the office welcoming. The worst was after my appointment when I was looking at new glasses. The woman assisting me wasn't helpful and acted like I shouldn't even look at some frames going so far to take a pair out of my hands that I was going to try on. Then when I sat down with her to discuss new lenses she refused to tell me what my pupillary distance was. She acted like it was top secret even when I told her it was information about my eyes and therefore something I should be able to know. The prices were also marked up very high even after insurance. I ended up not buying new glasses for 2 reasons: one being the high mark up in cost and the primary reason being the terrible customer service. Even though I liked Dr. Gill I will never return to this office.

This was my first visit with Dr. Gill and must say I was very pleased with her. She is very professional and has a great personality. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

The atmosphere at Lakeland Eye Clinic South was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. Also this was my second time seeing Dr. Gill who was kind and listened to my concerns. I would recommend them to everyone. I felt very good when I left!!

Every single employee in the office provides outstanding professional care. Dr. Gill was kind and thorough throughout my examination. He eased my anxiety when I had questions, which I greatly appreciated.

I was sad the Lake Gibson location closed but pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Gill and Tonia at the new location. They are amazing!! Staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient. There was a wide array of frames to choose from. I highly recommend this location

My husband and I have been going to the Lakeland Eye Clinic for many years and Dr. Gill is awesome! She is very thorough and pleasant and we always look forward to seeing her.
