Dr. Marlen Leon

We have overall been happy with Dr. Leon. Like all medical offices there are both good things and bad things. The Good: Doctor seems knowledgeable and does a thorough exam. We have had very good results with treatment. After almost 1 year of the new glasses and patching, vision went from 20/60 to 20/20. Assistants are friendly. Janette does a good job preparing you for what to expect. The Bad: Long wait times on the phone. Long wait times to get in. Unless there's an emergency you may not get an appointment until 4 months out. No weekend appointments so kids will miss school and you will miss work.

We had a wonderful experience during our appointment. My son has ADHD and Autism and they were very patient with him. The entire staff was wonderful!

There is great office environment. The office is clean. The office is in a central, convenient location in the city of Lakeland. They have been our office for years. The office is accessible. They have quality care and good customer service. Added to that Dr. Leon has always been AMAZING! She is so patient, sweet, composed, professional, empathetic, trustworthy, great communication skills and knowledgeable. She needs to be cloned. Grateful. (There is an average wait time. I think that can improve with some better logistics.)

Dr Leon is an awesome doctor. She takes time to listen to questions and concerns. Mckenzie was super nice and explained everything and had us completely set up before Dr Leon came in to see us. There was minimal wait time, too! Two thumbs up!

The staff and doctor always make my son comfortable and they are quick and sweet. Always a pleasure! THANKYOU:)

We have been seeing Dr. Leon since my daughter was 18 months old, she is now 10. Her eyes were still crossing in her glasses. We were scheduled for eye surgery. I took my daughter for a second opinion. Her prescription was wrong. Dr. Leon prescribed her +3.00 and her actual needed refraction is +5.00. It was medically negligent. The new doctor stated the first thing that should have been done was her prescription should have been rechecked. The office staff was always nice but when i had concerns I never felt like they were answered like they were with my new doctor. Go anywhere else if your child has serious eye issues.

First time with an appointment here. Dr. Leon was great and informative. I had a question about the medication that was given and I even received a call back from her the same day shortly after I called to ask for clarification. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The other nurse/eye Dr we saw was good too, I don't remember her name.

First, i would like to mention Karen. It's our first visit in this clinic, and she was helping me a lot assisting my husband with wheelchair. Very positive person. Dra. Leon M. so knowledgeable about my husband eye problem. She ordered MRI scan, and Contrast. Lastly, the lady at the front desk very welcoming and just overall positive experience. Thank you all
