Very helpful with the health of the eyes and ordering glasses and contacts. The waiting room has wifi. The doctors there are very funny and nice to see.

We love the Doctors at Eye Express, but getting the glasses can be a real pain. The lab they use has messed up the lenses twice now (wrong shape to fit the frames), so instead of being a week or so to get the new glasses, it will be more like 3-4 weeks. You might be better to just get the prescription and go elsewhere to get the glasses.

Worst eye doctor experience I have ever had in my life.. Waited months to get in, Only to be treated like trash and then for them to tell me that my glasses are discontinued. I have been trying to replace them for over a month they told me to wait on my insurance so I wouldn't have to pay as much only to come and find out they don't even exist anymore. After waiting 3 months for an appointment ANOTHER whole month for glasses, I leave with nothing trying to call around with my prescription to get glasses somewhere. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Let's not forget the general manager is a purple haired joke. What happened to customer service !?

Eye exam and doctor was great. As a walk in they saw me quickly and did very well. After that it went downhill. Waited over 30 minutes for someone to see me for my glasses, and no frames within a decent price range and not even close to the amount that my insurance covers...and I have very good insurance

As I continue to be on hold for over 10 minutes, I decided to write this review... My appointment time was 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:13pm and signed in. I decided to arrive a few minutes early to browse their frame selection before my appointment time. I was not impressed with their selection. It appeared highly picked over and majority of the frames grossly overpriced. I continued to wonder around the store until finally being called back for my exam at 3:55pm.... 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I will say that the exam staff was friendly. After completing my exam, I was asked by the ophthalmologist if I would like to pick out frames. I advised that I had already browsed their selection and was unable to find anything that I liked. She walked me to the front desk and made them aware that I needed to check out. The front desk said it would be just a moment and asked if I would wait in the waiting area. After waiting a bit in the waiting area, I decided to wait near the front desk. The front desk staff asked if I had been helped and I stated that I just needed to pay my co-pay. They said that they were trying to keep everyone in order, but they would go ahead and get me checked out. Were they really expecting me to wait until each person ahead of me selected frames, were fitted for said frames, and paid before I could simply pay my co-pay??? It was approximately 4:45pm by the time I was able to pay my co-pay and leave. Imagine if I actually wanted to purchase frames. I scheduled my appointment for 3:30pm to allow enough time (1.5 hours) for my exam and frame selection/purchase before I HAD to leave at 5pm in order to pick my son up from childcare on time. While I was paying my co-pay the employee assisting me said that if I found frames online they could order them. Fast forward to today... After being on hold for over 10 minutes, speaking with someone about frames I found online, and then being placed on hold again for about 5 minutes, I was told that the frames that I found online for $151.00 would cost me over $400.00!!! So I think it's pretty obvious that I will not be purchasing frames from them, as I am not a member of the Kardashian family that doesn't mind paying $400.00 for plastic frames because it is merely pocket change. To sum up the novel I just wrote... If you want to wait, wait some more, and pay inflated prices for frames, please go here!

Wish I could give less than one star. The sign outside says walk ins welcome not true. I needed a child's eye exam had to make appointment for a week and a half later. I pre paid for my son's eye exam I arrive 4 minutes late for our appointment. My appointment was for 515 the receptionist informed my that the doctor left at 516! Tried to get a refund...still working on that one... I called pearl vision they have weekend hours and 30 dollars cheaper.......so you know who will have my money from now on.

Doctors are good here, the office staff are a joke. Good luck on having them interpret your insurance correctly. EVERY TIME my wife or I go in for an appointment, there is a wait to determine what insurance covers. They must just guess after awhile because they will ask you to pay, then on the next appointment will say you have a credit, and then you will receive a bill in the mail. This place has gone downhill over the last few years. Too much expansion has thinned the already incompetent office staff.

I have always had great experience with Eye Express at this location Lakeland. Jennifer contact lens sale specialist is very kind and patient to work with the insurance plan and find the best deal and price match of the contact lens. It is difficult and rare to find sales services to sincerely help you get the best price out of your insurance and do the best for you. So I sincerely appreciate it. Wai
