I came here because of the great reviews from prior patients. The initial exam was fine, took a few weeks for the glasses to get done, and Davis insurance denied the coverage because they said Dr. Abuaita was not in the network. No big deal, I'll pay the $135 to get a quality eye exam. Well after trying to adjust to the new glasses, I called and said that my vision does not seem clear. They said it was due to my astigmatism and suggested I try them for a longer period of time. After getting a physical today and vision test, the doctor said the left eye correction must be off. So I came back to Dr. Abuaita to be told I'd need to pay another $80 to get reexamined and then pay for new lenses if the prescription is off. What a joke. I won't be back.

I was at your store on Saturday, I have nothing but good things to say. From the greeting when we first walked in to the doctor that did my exam ( he took his time to explain everything) they were all amazing. Special shout out to Leilani the sales associate she took her time with me.. she was friendly, helpful and amazing. Thank you for a great experience. As someone who has worn glasses since age 6 and has gone to MANY eye doctors, this is by far the worst experience I have had. I get to my appointment with Abuaita I guess, and was given a paper for eye dilation and the eye scan. I did not want my eyes dilated as I am driving myself, and I had the scan done a couple years back and did not want to spend the extra $35. The receptionist (wish I grabbed his name) essentially said you HAVE to do one or the other. I told him I have never had this issue at Americas Best, and he said well different practices. There is no way around this extra test. So unless you want to be forced to pay for an extra test, again I have gone to the eye doctors my entire life, then I would avoid this location by all means. I have never felt so forced to pay for something that wasn't required. NEVER AGAIN. This place is clearly more interested in the money, than respecting the time and budget of their clients.

I went here for some new glasses, but my frames had been discontinued -- so sad! In the midst of my sadness, Leilani was so kind and helped me look for new glasses. We spent like 45 minutes going around to all the glasses, and she was so, SO patient. She even got down on the FLOOR to look at the frames in the bottom cabinet. I absolutely trusted her judgment with what frames looked good or not good on my face, because I am incredibly indecisive when it comes to such a large selection. When we had narrowed it down to two frames, she was so patient and kind. She didn't rush me to make any decision, and I felt like she genuinely wanted me to feel 100% confident with the frames I chose. She even showed me a glasses simulator on her iPad since the color I wanted was not in stock! After I had chosen my frames, she worked with me to get the most bang for my buck. 100% recommend her, thank you so much!
