We had a wonderful experience at Coast Eye Institute. The entire staff was great! Very knowledgeable, kind, and especially wonderful with kids. They walked us through every part of the eye exam so we always understood what was happening and what they were looking for. Rhonda and Dr. Silverman both took extra time with me to explain their concerns, answer my questions, and make sure we fully understood everything. I really appreciated how thorough and patient they were throughout the appointment. One thing that meant a lot to me was that they provided a copy of the visit notes so I wouldn't forget anything we discussed. That level of care and attention really stood out. Thank you to everyone at Coast Eye Institute for taking such good care of us!

Very attentive and caring, not easy with a 11 year old and 6 year old who was very nervous. Extremely professional, communicative and kind. Will continue to make the longer drive and bring my kiddos here.

We were able to get into Dr. Silverman's office very quickly, and he was good with my 6 year old son. Dr. Silverman was not very approachable to the adults in the room, but he was great with my son and that's what is important. As a concerned parent, I did feel rushed, and like I needed to be very quick and precise with my questions. Perhaps he just likes to go fast and not participate in small talk or humor - which sometimes is needed, especially for parents who have anxiety or fears about medical issues like myself. But he seems like a competent and knowledgeable physician. I would trust him with surgery and treatment if it came to that. Just expect that he's very direct, and focused on the patient.

I had a very good experience on my most recent visit. My son is very difficult when it comes to eye exams, particularly eye drops. Dr. Silverman did a great job talking to him and making him feel comfortable enough to complete his exam. Thank you very much.

Dr. Silverman has been my daughter's eye doctor since she was 3 years old--going on 12 years now. His office is always clean, efficient, and well-run, and his staff is consistently polite and professional. Dr. Silverman has a natural way with kids: playful and fun when they're little (stickers included!) and respectful, fatherly, and encouraging as they grow older. My daughter has never once dreaded an appointment. His bedside manner, expertise, and genuine care make him an outstanding ophthalmologist. I highly recommend him for pediatric ophthalmology and any eye issues beyond glasses.

Dr. Silverman and his staff are top notch! My kids have been going to Coastal Eye for several years and look forward to their visits. If you have a child in need of an eye exam, look no further, this is the place to call!

Dr. Silverman is the best! He fixed my son's crossed eyes and the office has some of the most friendly staff. My son loves coming to see Dr. Silverman!
