Cataract Surgery is coming my way January 14th & 28th. I'll be seeing you more clearly very soon!!! In all seriousness, I just had the pleasure of meeting with Melissa at the Lecanto location for my prep in getting my Cataract surgery this month. Melissa was a joy to work with, she is very compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Melissa took and retook pictures of both of my eyes to make absolute sure she was recording the accurate information needed for the day of my surgeries. Melissa took the time to help me better understand the lenses that would better suit my vision and pocketbook. Until speaking with her I was still a little confused, Melissa asked about my contacts that I wear and I told her one is for distance and one is for near. With that little bit of information she suggested that I go with the Medicare covered option, which I did. It made all the sense after meeting with Melissa. Upon checking out at West Coast Eye Institute I had the pleasure of meeting Rachael. Rachael completed my financial responsibility and gave me my eye drops and sunglasses in a little pouch. She was pleasant to deal with as well as having a very friendly but professional manner. I look forward to my first surgery with Dr. Lambright on the 14th of this month!!!!

It has been a great privilege to benefit from Dr. Parrow's expertise for almost 20 years. Because of him, at 86 I can see better now than I could when I first started wearing glasses at age 16. The cataract surgery improved my eyesight dramatically. Medications prescribed along with changes made have kept my eyes healthy. For me, gratitude is the operative word. Today I had a visual field test which for me is somewhat nerve wracking partly because I tend to turn it into a contest between me and the machine. The one today was especially tiring but it was all worthwhile because I feel confident that it was done with utmost skill by the very professional employee named Jackie. She was terrific and did her very best to keep me comfortable as I fought the machine. Through the years I have visited this office many times and I could have easily written something like this after each of those visits because every single employee who played a role in examining my eyes and providing me information did a stellar job. That work can't be easy and it must be tiring but I never have had the impression that they were in a big hurry to get me out of there. Thoroughness seems to be the name of the game.

I am very impressed with the services at West Coast Eye Clinic. The staff is courteous & professional. I was able to get prompt appointments. Dr. Freeland did an absolutely terrific job on my treatment for macular degen. It was a scary diagnosis, but he was reassuring about the success of the treatment. I would highly recommend West Coast Eye Clinic to anyone. Thanks to all of you.

Disappointed... I was excited to find eye place that can help with condition including correction surgery- appointment took a month, no biggie. Appt day- paid copay, had exam, even paid extra for eyeglass prescription (told was a specialty so another copay), got exam. Then eyes dilated, went and sat for Dr to come in and talk. Ends up Dr not there that day? PA only- asked PA about eye exam and having to guess letters in test and worried prescription might not be accurate. She said she would manually check with equipment after looks at dilated eyes. Was then advised have eye conditions which I already knew and informed staff of. I asked what options can help, and told nothing can help??? I advised that is why I set appointment with company to address surgery options. She advised I would need to discuss with Dr??? I advised that is what and why I had an appointment. She left , came back and advised I could get in tomorrow to see Dr or it would be a month before next appt. I asked if that would require ANOTHER copay and she said yes. She advised my appointment was a first appointment that is a "get to know me" appointment??? She then refused to manually double check the eye glass prescription because that was what the machine did initially... I would have appreciated a phone call to advise the Dr was not to be in, and a reschedule since I would not receive the service I originally scheduled for.

I had cataracts that rendered me nearly legally blind. After my surgery and 10 months later, I now have 20/20 vision. I give my deep appreciation to Dr. Parrow and the supporting staff at West Coast Eye Institute and Citrus Surgery Center. My sight has been restored, and I can now see what I never thought I would see again. I am going to drive to the Gulf to see a sunset and drive home.

My experience with West Coast eye institute was amazing! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr thorough and efficient. Very nice visit!

As a new patient, I've had a great experience at West Coast Eye. Wendy went over and above to assist me, I very much appreciate her. Billie, Lori-Anne and Tiffany were all exceptional at their jobs.
