Clarkson Eyecare

I have previously been to the Clarkson Eyecare in Fort Walton Beach with my kids for several years and love the office. Since this one is closer and finally started online appointment scheduling, I decided to try it. The paperwork was different, the front desk was not as helpful, and it was much busier! They told me that the paperwork I received saying I'd owe money was only if I'd used my insurance for an annual eye appointment in the past 12 months. It had been 18, so all was fine. Until I receive a bill after for $214. Okay, maybe it's an insurance issue, it happens. I have waited on hold for over 20 minutes several times now to end up needing to "leave a message" that does not get returned. I never had this issue at the other office. They were diligent on making sure my insurance would cover BEFORE the appointment. I never signed something saying what I would owe if insurance was over used, and I sure never had to spend over a week tracking someone down to ask a question! I do not recommend the Navarre office. For a more personal, professional, and much warmer experience, head over to Fort Walton. The staff there is excellent!

I probably had my first appointment on their worse day. They told me that my doctor had to cover another doctor's patients due to an emergency. I was immediately expecting a long wait. They were very courteous and to my surprise they had me in and out in about 45 minutes. Mind-blowing experience!

I enjoy having my eye exam, I love seeing my doctor and she is very personable. And I feel confident that my eyes are in good hands. The girl who helped me find glasses and explained my insurance coverage went above and beyond to make sure I was totally happy with my choice. I'm sorry I forgot her name.

Christina was through and efficient during the eye exam. Dr. Hook was awesome and took time to answer questions. Madison was super helpful while picking out glasses and provided guidance. I was overall very pleased with my experience.

My wife and I have been very well satisfied with Clarkson Eyecare in Navarre. Friendly, pleasant, professional. Dr. Grubb is very patient and knowledgeable.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grubbs since 2000. He is great. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere. Everyone at Clarkson is friendly and helpful!

The Ophthalmologist/Optometrist and staff at Clarkson in Navarre were efficient, professional, and polite at our visit for routine eye exams. The facility was clean and comfortable.

Only giving a two star because the exam portion went smoothly. However they will Charge you for things without your knowledge. I had va healthcare and got a free eye exam. They did things without asking me first that were NOT covered by insurance. At the end I had to pay since it was already done. Then they added warranties on my glasses without asking if I wanted it. Additional $80 or so. Ridiculous.
