I brought my friend for a 9:30 appointment, we were there for 4 hours. Supposedly emergency, same excuse all the time. No consideration for the patients, our time is valuable as anyone else. Our appointments always last more 3 hour. No no A wasted day. The new receptionist is very pleasant

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received when attempting to schedule an appointment. After calling three times over two days regarding a serious corneal ulcer, I was met with what can only be described as a complete lack of professionalism and basic human decency from the receptionist. I'm seeking a second opinion because I believe the prescriptions I received from my current doctor are incorrect and potentially dangerous, and I need a qualified ophthalmologist to examine my eye. This is a very serious condition that has prevented me from returning to my job as a school bus driver, and I am at risk of losing my vision. Despite the urgency of my situation, the receptionist refused to even consider scheduling me an appointment. During my calls, she gave a different excuse each time. She claimed the doctor doesn't treat corneal ulcers and insisted he only sees patients with cataracts and macular degeneration, even going so far as to act like my condition was contagious. She repeatedly dismissed my requests to be seen, despite my concerns about my current treatment and the potential for vision loss. She refused to even check with the doctor and ultimately never called me back after promising she would. It is disheartening to be treated this way, especially when seeking urgent medical care. This receptionist is not only preventing people from seeing a doctor who could potentially help them, but she's also acting as an unauthorized gatekeeper, making medical decisions on behalf of the ophthalmologist. She is a detriment to this practice and is doing a disservice to patients and the doctor alike. -RC

Had a appointment at 110 pm and didn't see the doctor until 330 pm after we said that we were going to leave.He was spending his time with new employees during the patient appointments. There no no excuse for this the patients should be taken first all other business should be done after hours.

Went in at 9AM, didn't see the doctor until 12:30PM. Don't come here, it's extremely inconsiderate of people's time to make them wait this long, specially when majority of your patients are old people. Go somewhere else.

Old material, still using old technology, huge place but only 1 doctor. This is my 2nd visit, the first visit I had to wait 3 hours to see the doctor, my second visit 4 hours to see him. Soooo disappointed

Dr. Powers and his team are exceptional. From the warm welcome to the personalized care, every visit is outstanding. Dr. Powers goes above and beyond, ensuring each patient receives tailored treatment and thorough explanations. The office is clean, appointments are easy to schedule, and the entire staff is friendly and professional.

DO NOT GO HERE! My mother and I just moved down here a few months ago. I was taking her to an ophthalmologist in New York for years where she was being treated. Once we moved down to Florida, I took her to the Healthy Vision Insitute, and she was diagnosed with 2 more conditions that she never heard of from her previous doctor. She went to 2 more appointments (all of which were over 3 hours long by the way). After her last appointment at Healthy Vision, we decided to get a second and a third opinion just to be sure. She has no signs of the conditions the owner of the practice, Dr Powers diagnosed her with. 3 different doctors have now refuted what healthy vision has being claiming what my mother has. I am very disappointed in this practice. If you value your time, and proper treatment do not go here.

I Trust Dr Powers to take care of me! He and his office staff have worked diligently to improve wait times which is wonderful because of my back! Won't go anywhere else. Exceptional
