Dr. Terry L. Tucker, O.D.

We were 1st time customers my wife and I. Both got an eye exam from Dr Tucker. Very nice guy, really knowledgeable. We both got our scripts, my wife decided to keep her frames, and just get new lenses. I took my script to Walmart. My wife's glasses took 3 weeks to get done, mine 4 days at Walmart. When my wife put them on, she started to get instant headaches, and couldn't see up close. Turns out the office staff wrote the prescription down wrong and kept telling my wife she had to get used to them... After a week of getting "used" to them, she couldn't wear them at all. We brought them back to the store and they admitted they wrote it down wrong and said they would fix them..2 weeks later still no glasses, so we decided to get our money back and go elsewhere.... Office staff is horrible, incompetent, with attitude! They are ruining the Doctors good name... Never going back!

Dr Tucker is awesome very knowledgeable but takes his time so appointments take a long time! The person who takes care of fitting glasses however...takes forever! He cannot multitask to save his soul! He Carries on with long conversations with every customer like they are his long lost relative! I do not recommend getting your glasses here. After I posted this, I complained to the staff and the office manager stepped in and helped us. This isn't the first time the service was subpar, but I was happy for the office manager stepping in.

Dr. Tucker's staff used to remind us of appts. True eye does not. They no longer take our insurance and failed to let us know. Dr. Tucker is wonderful, but True eye stinks. Will find another Dr after all these years. How sad they he worked so hard to build his practice and they are slowly distroying it.

Initially I had a really great experience with the doctor, and he was great with my eyes and my prescription. However, this office and their staff are absolutely ridiculous. I have attempted to email the Office Manager and call the office for three weeks now with no answer. I completely understand we had a hurricane, I had damage myself and I get people close during these times but finally today I went down to the office because they're not answering my voicemails and it is consistently saying the office is closed on their phone service and no one answers when you press the page the doctor button and I need my contact prescription because I'm completely out. I went down there and they had a paper sign on the door saying that they were closed Monday through Thursday for inventory but yet their door was still locked today, Friday. An entire week for inventory seems ridiculous. I understand that people have things to do but when the office was already closed for almost 2 weeks and they're not even answering phones, emails or vms and no one has provided me with a prescription that I paid for three months prior and I can't order any contacts and I'm completely blind without them is incredibly irritating. I will not be using this office again because it doesn't matter how good a doctor is if you can't even get your prescription. I would not recommend. Don't waste your time.
