It is currently 4:01pm as I write this from the waiting room... I had a 3:00pm appointment, and arrived at 2:45. I filled out all the forms online last night, to expedite the process. I was asked to fill the exact same field out on an iPad about fifteen minutes after my arrival. This has been my problem at every America's Best... At least an hour after my appointment time before I'm seen...teledoctor or not. My time is important to me, that's why I make appointments.
Staff has been nice though.
Update: I sent them an email on 2/21/26, as requested in their response. Today is 3/3/26, and I have received no response from the company.

They had a nice collection of lower priced frames and I found some nice ones in a few minutes. The eye exam was professional and accurate, because when I picked up the glasses and read the card they have you read everything was so clear and I knew I'd had a great exam. With the medicare plan I have everything was just around $200. Very happy with the staff and my results. Would definitely recommend.

Dr Lafreniere was amazing. Very friendly, made sure to answer all questions I had, was very thorough, she has a very sweet personality. Would highly recommend her to anyone who needs an eye exam. Went here due to seeing the advertisement. Scheduled for in person with Dr. no doctor on site. They diagnosed me, charged my insurance, and upgraded my glasses to the best I could get $750 later. Finally got them, barely any help still couldn't see clearly. Back and forth with them, long story short went to another eye dr and lo and behold I have cataracts. So a year later 2 sets of glasses and $3,500 finally I can see clearly and safely. If they would have diagnosed me correctly first would have saved a ton.

I've used America's Best for years. Excellent quality at affordable prices - even with severe near sidedness and progressives. My recent experience at Ocala store was fantastic. Excellent eye exam - the Dr took time to explain and answer questions. The staff were the best I've experienced. They were kind, professional, helpful and willing to price different options with coupon versus insurance, etc. I left the store feeling so joyful at just the fun human interaction. My technician helped me choose the right frame and made sure. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in the process. The selection was outstanding, as was the pricing. I picked up my glasses and they are perfect. They made sure the frames fit my face and I was satisfied. Told me to come back anytime for cleaning and adjustment. I have previously attended an appointment with my boyfriend and had an excellent time very good selection of glasses I recently took my son somewhere else that was a big mistake due to his eyes being slightly slanted and closed they said they could not take pictures of his eyes tried multiple times at that place before they finally said that our business wasn't going to work there so we came back to America's Best and listen Houdinia the optical magician works there and with her magical tools she was able to get my son's photograph of his eyes she is amazing much respect to her and the rest of the facility may God bless them all

This America's Best don't usually have a doctor on-site, but the examination is conducted remotely. The care is essentially the same, as the technicians operate the equipment as instructed, guided by the doctor at a remote location.
The visit takes a little longer, than if a doctor were present. If needed, you can set an appointment for when a doctor is scheduled to be at this location.
The employees are pleasant and willing to help the customer in any way.
