Ritz Eye Care

The entire team was so helpful. They calmed me through some pretty scary news. I'm not a huge fan of the medical community. White coat syndrome was named because of me. Ritz however squashed my fears and reaffirmed my faith. Thank you to all.

The entire staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and truly dedicated to providing top-tier care. The doctor who took care of me was incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire exam. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their eye health. The office is clean, modern, and equipped with the latest technology, which made the whole process smooth and efficient. Awesome team. Had my new glasses in less than a week. Very comfortable environment. My third dr.since coming to Fl. for eyecare. Finally found Dr. Ritz. Head and shoulders above the others. Love my glasses. First time someone actually fitted me! Going back for sure.

Dr. Ritz and his wonderful staff of professionals have taken care of my vision for many years now. He is proactive taking steps to avoid complications down the road as much as possible. After the visit, I am given all the time I need to choose a frame or keep the one I have. I highly recommend Ritz Eyecare in Ocala. Dean, on staff, has helped me find and fit glasses for years. He does a great job.

It was good to see Dr Ritz again. As always he and his staff are so helpful and knowledgeable with the services they provide. They do a good thorough job and explains everything to you. One of the very best Eye Doctor In Ocala that I've been to.

I was a patient from Dr Ritz for several years, driving from Citrus County and my impression about the Doctor and staff was very good in the beginning. They have recently major staff change and the service did drop a lot. The Doctor did criticize his employees right in front of me, very unprofessional, I think. The Doctor made me a new perscription for Eye drops which turned out to cost $224.00 at the Pharmacy. The Pharmacy did recomondate to ask the doctor to make a change on the prescription from 1.5 to 2.0 strength and the charge would be from $5.00 to $10.00. With that we called the doctors office and asked the receptionist to talk with the doctor to make this change. The next day we called the pharmacy to see if it was ready and they told us they got the same perscription as the first one, no change, the pharmacy said they put a call into the doctor office but haven't heard back. So we called the doctor office back and told them what the pharmacy said, she said she would put this on the doctors desk and he would change the prescription, The Doctor called after 5:00pm, he was very rude and told me to stop calling this office every hour, that he is to busy and short handed, I informed him that I only called this morning and later in the afternoon to see if the prescription was ready, he said he must have gotten mis-information and I said yes you did. He was very rude, upset and told us to find a new eye doctor. I am very disappointed of the performance and I told him that since he had this major staff change, everything had changed in the office with the employees friendliness and his professional manner. Now we will have to find another eye doctor. Funny thing is: The next day we received by email a survey from him and this is what we are doing, he asked for a review and we are giving it to him.

I love Doctor ritz I've been with Ritz for a few decades LOL... He's still compassionate about my eyes..Great job... and very pleasan. love the music there.. Love everyone that works there.. Grateful for the young lady with the Gorgeous.Gray hair that helps me with my Glasses...

TEAM Ritz! Many of the reviews, rightfully so, speak about "the" visit. Let me give a slightly different take: AFTER care. I recently, switched to progressives, and as such do NOT enjoy riding my bicycle with progressives. Well, during the time adjusting to progressives I left my old pair of glasses in my car and ruined the lenses from heat; I'm not eligible for new lenses for 6 more months! TEAM Ritz "McGuyver'd" a solution--Thank you Dean! I went home and and got on my mountain bike, to go look for a bar end I had lost on the previous day's ride. Needle in a haystack! #TeamRitz
