For starters, there is no doctor on site at any point in this store. No ophthalmologist, no optometrist, only one technician that performs testing and sends it out to someone off site to look at and write a prescription. (The technician is the only redeeming thing about this store, she was absolutely amazing.) At no point do you as the patient have any contact with that person what so ever. They don't tell you any of this until you're starting the exam, and then they gloss over it like it's perfectly normal. When you make the appointment they tell you they can have single prescription lenses in 30 minutes, but regardless of what your prescription is they're 'out of stock' and have to be ordered. At that point they tell you it will be a week, but after a week with no glasses or phone call they tell you they can see the tracking and they will be here in two days. Five days later and still no glasses or phone call to explain why it's delayed they tell you when you call it will be a few more days. At this point you're over it and ask to cancel the order and for a refund, which they tell you they processed while on the phone with you and it will take 7 to 10 days. After waiting a week for your refund you call back to ask why it hasn't gone through only for them to insist they refunded it and to keep waiting. When you push and tell them the bank is showing no pending returns they admit they've been so busy for the last week they've only just now cancelled your order and refunded it. I don't recommend getting glasses here, there are much better places in Ocala to go.

Found this place through my insurance and was skeptical as i had never been here, i had such a good experience here! Misty made it comfortable and smooth with keeping me informed and even treating my daughter very kindly. Came back the next afternoon to pick up my glasses and again, had a smooth and great experience with misty. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Wow! It's been a long time since I walked into a doctor's office and received this level of kindness and professionalism. Alexis took my intake and performed my eye exam--she was awesome, patient, and very detailed. Dr. Chuck was phenomenal as well. Before leaving, I had the chance to chat with Misty, and she was so genuine and welcoming. This place truly cares about your eyes and takes the time to educate you on every step of the process after the exam. I will definitely continue coming here for myself and my family. Another bonus: they accept my insurance! Highly recommended!

The staff here is fantastic! We were greeted with warm smiles at the door and the check-in process was easy. They did not take my wife's insurance but offered a non-billable discount that mirrors our insurance co-pays so she got around the same amount she would have with our insurance! The pretest was quick and the technician, Alexis, there was very proficient and knowledgeable with our many questions. After the refraction we headed up front where we were greeted again with smiles from Kassandra and Misty. They walked her through their non-billable insurance discount and she ended up getting everything she wanted, and two pairs for a VERY good price compared to the last place we got our eye exam done at! We are VERY happy and will be back for my exam!

Timothy was an absolute ROCKSTAR! He went above and beyond helping me find the perfect new eyeglasses and somehow worked magic with the numbers to get me a super reasonable price. The service was top-tier from start to finish ... friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting me exactly what I needed. If you're coming here, ask for Timothy. PERIOD.

After making an appointment online for 12:30 on a Sunday we were told across the entire office when we walked in the door that "their system was down" and they had 5 patients in front of us. When we questioned how could there be 5 ahead of us since they just opened and we made our appointment online. Whoever the person was became indignant and said you can come back here if you want to a desk. Once at the desk she was super rude that we can wait but it's going to be a long time. She also said don't you realize things happen and we cannot prevent this. Why didn't they just reach out and call us and explain instead of us coming there. I def won't be going back and have your call service to stop calling us ...

I tried Staton Optical after using EyeGlass World for years. Wow, from the moment I walked in what wonderful customer service. The tech was so sweet and Tim is the best! Answered all my questions and went out of his way to get my lenses as quick as possible.

Misty and her team assisted me. It had been far to long since my last exam and my glasses prescription was -way- off from what I needed. They assisted me thru the whole process. Misty worked hard to help me safe as much money as possible while getting me what I needed for my eyes. Very thankful for them and can't wait to get my new glasses! Thanks!!!!
