Beyond 2020 Vision Specialists

I had a very irritating eye infection and was able to get a same day appointment with Beyond 2020 Vision Specialist in Odessa. The entire staff was nice and very professional. We appreciate Dr. Austin. He was extremely helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. I would recommend him 100%

We had a wonderful experience on Friday with Dr. Helsing for my daughter's appointment. He was incredibly personable, patient, and made her feel completely at ease. The entire staff was just as great friendly, welcoming, and very helpful from start to finish. It's clear they genuinely care about their patients. The doctor let my daughter try out a pair of contacts since she used to use only daily disposable ones and wanted to try out the monthly ones. Turns out they have great prices for the monthly contacts (considering what I was previously paying) so we are soo happy. Never did they give off any pushy salesman vibes. We're so glad we chose this office and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent eye care and great prices!!

I am very happy with Beyond 2020 and particularly with Stephen (store manager). I took my new prescription to them because they optical shop I came from didn't have frames I liked. Beyond 2020 had a great selection of frames, in which I found a pair, and after trial and error we found the progressive lenses that worked best for me. They went above and beyond to meet my needs. I highly recommend them for all your eye ware needs!

Overall upset with my experience with Beyond 20/20. I got an eye exam for both contacts and glass, because I had relatively old glass (~2years) that I noticed were not quite as crisp as what I wanted anymore. As expected my eyes needed to be adjusted. However, when I got my glasses I noticed immediately that they would cause me pain, headaches, nausea, etc. I was reassured by the doctor that this was to be expected as my prescription got stronger. Over the next few months, the glasses got a little better, but not a whole lot. Several month later, I still get headaches if I spend too much time on my phone with them on, which easy solution, take them off while looking at phone. Now with the contacts I received is another story. First round, they were awful, could not see without feeling dizzy, headaches, tunnel vision, etc. Clearly they were too strong. I requested them be dialed back a little as I felt it was too strong. The doctor allowed this and I was on my way with somewhat better contacts. I reached out again a few months later as I felt they still were not it. Very similar to the response I got with the glasses, I was told that my eyes would adjust. So I went with it, what do I know? I am not an eye doctor.. Several months later, no change. I still get awful tunnel vision, headaches, the feeling of built up pressure behind my eyes. SO I reached out again to see if I could just get my current prescription reverted back to what I had previously, to get me through until my yearly exam is available. Something that I know does not cause me pain, but also is not the sharpest. The response I get from the doctor? Nope. It is their policy that after 90 days of the exam, you cannot get your prescription altered without paying for another exam. Surprise surprise right? All about money. It is safe to say that I would not recommend this place unless you have the worlds lightest eye correction.

I was having severe dry eyes and needed a quick appointment. I went to the Odessa location Dr. Than was able to see me right away and was so helpful and kind! Dr. Than takes time for her patients and it really shows. All staff was so friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend them.

Beyond 2020 Vision Specialist in Odessa always make it extremely easy when I come in for any assistance. It doesn't matter if its my yearly check up or just needing questions answered Dr. Tumolo and the team are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new Dr. in the area.

The service from the staff and the doctor is exceptional. They are welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. They also have an amazing selection of eyewear.

These people are very polite and friendly. They go above and beyond to fix whatever issue you may have. It's easy to make an appointment. Give them a try. It's worth it!
