Not disclosing any info on changes after excellent care from Dr. Rubin and Dr. Haab, I had an eye exam, Dr states everything looks good, vision has changed a little. Check out was the kicker : I inquired about my eye script, they wanted to charge me $75. Front desk said this is a specialist not an optometrist. I said I've always gotten a script. Front desk said you need to go to an optometrist. Then the front desk girl stated I have floaters and that's normal. The Dr, who's the trained, said all is fine no issues. Is there a little falsifying of documentation and/or statements to your client. Sad what these people are doing. Stay away.

Visited with my 90 year old Mom on 4/23/24. Office set up well, clean and quiet and refreshingly calm. Shawna and Mercedes took great care of mom and were absolutely WONDERFUL in their handling of her difficulty hearing and understanding. These two ladies are valuable assets to this office. I sincerely hope their manager reads this and is aware of the caliber of these ladies dedication. Employees like these are hard to find. I look forward to seeing them again on our next visit.

I saw Dr. HabHab today for the first time and I could not have been more pleased with my experience. She took time with me and explained thoroughly the issues I was having and what the options were for me to consider. I felt I was in very good, knowledgable hands. I need to send out raves for her staff as well. They were friendly and caring. I think changing doctors and going to this office is going to be a very good decision.

Dr. Habhab is wonderful. She is very thorough and answered any questions. Her staff is very kind, helpful and efficient. She recently removed a cyst by my eye which was quick and easy. They put me right at ease. Highly recommend

Dr. HabHab was very thorough with my eye examination, explaining in detail what issues I was having. She is very professional, easy to talk to, and extremely nice and friendly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an eye doctor. The staff is also very friendly and willing to help in whatever way they can. You would not be disappointed in the service you receive.

I really don't want such a negative public review associated with me, but I also feel like I'm having difficulty gaining access to my medical information so I want to be sure to share my experience with others. I asked for my medical records in July 2024. I was told I needed to sign a release. So after making an appointment with another facility, I stopped by Florida Eye Specialists' Ormond Beach office on Monday, December 2nd around 12pm to pick up my records/sign a release for records to be sent to the other facility. The Ormond Beach office was closed. I called the phone number on the door and was told "Hm, they should be open, but I guess they are closed today." There was no information on the door indicating the office was closed for any reason and the staff provided no explanation. No problem. I stopped by the Ormond Beach office on Thursday, December 5 at 11 am. Again, they were closed. I called the number on the door and the staff member who answered said, "Oh no, we aren't open today." No other information given. I asked, 'Okay, can I stop by tomorrow?' and was told, "Um, yes, sure, they should be open." I didn't stop by, I don't have time to guess when your office is open. Overall, strange interactions with this office and I don't really know Dr. Francis, who gave me 30 seconds of her time before sending me to do a test I had already completed that day in the office (if she had looked at my chart carefully). To any office staff reading this: I'm still trying to get my medical records and I reached out again today :) The Ormond Beach office seems disorganized and lacks customer service at best. I liked Dr. Shebab but I guess she left the practice? I wasn't informed of this, I just looked for her on the website and she wasn't listed. Advice for this facility: (1) Provide your office hours on your door and to your staff answering phone calls so they are informed, (2) Provide a way for people to obtain their medical records that doesn't require having to take time out of their day to stop by the office, and (3) Let your patients know when their medical provider leaves the practice. These are all pretty standard business practices and are really the bare minimum services to offer your patients.

I have had both cataracts removed and love my new vision. Doc and staff have been amazing though out this process.
