My wife and I visited Target Optical for the first time this morning. We saw Dr Damaris. She was friendly and professional and we never noticed her rushing to push us out the door. She politely answered all our questions and concerns. She left a very good impression on us for a first time patient. Based on this review I would recommend her to anyone with eyesight issues.

I have had the worst experience with the women working here after being misquoted an eye exam over the phone. It went from $79.99on the phone to $150 when I showed up for the exam. Then they sabotaged my order , sent the wrong type ,the wrong size , and wrong amount. This was done on purpose. Now I get to go waste valuable time because of their mishandling of my exam.

I went to Target Optical today. I was expecting to meet Doctor Damaris Who was not in. I met Dr. Len instead. Couldn't have met a nicer Optometrist! He explained everything as he went through the exam. So patient and knowledgeable and what a wonderful personality!! From the moment I stepped in til I left, everyone was absolutely wonderful!! Will definitely go back

Although I really liked the doctor, they did not inform me that she charges a separate fee until after the exam. Also, the document they asked me to sign "informing" me of another separate fee for one of the tests was photocopied so many times you could not read it at all so another surprise charge at the time of checkout.
With insurance my normal copay is $10.00, with 6 months of contacts, I paid $220!! I am not happy and will not go back!

Dr. was very efficient and to the point. However, I didn't get a full prescription as my bi-focal add was missing. So I called many times all going to a no-voicemail and no one answered. The lack of communication with this location and the prescription mistake is not good. The person fixing the error did not apologize or have an explanation.

After making 2 appointments I found out they don't take my insurance for the eye exam. Wanted to give me a $125 deal for the exam and then they would take the insurance for lenses and frames, Thankfully they let me know before the exam. Needless to say I just left.
