Amazing experience! I have low vision and by far this was the best eye exam I've ever had. My contact lenses are perfect. I've never been able to see so well. They are kind, courteous and very friendly. I do have to mention that a gentleman came in and called Andres Very nasty name. And the manager, Leilani handled it so professionally and so quickly. I was about to intervene with this gentleman, but she handled it so well there was nothing left to be said. This man was way out of line!! Nobody should be spoken to that way. I'm so happy that I found a new place to get my eyes taken care of. Lydia at the front desk as well as Andres and the manager Leilani, along with the rest of the staff deserve a five star rating!
This was my 1st visit to Optical Outlets. When I read some of the reviews prior to my appointment. I was a bit skeptical but that all changed when I checked in at the front desk and was greeted by Maria she is very efficient and her customer service skills are one of the best I have seen in this area. She also helped me pick out the frames for my daughter and put me at ease with all the options available. If you want an experience like mines ask for Maria to help you I guarantee you will love the service. She is awesome
You can not judge this facility on the reviews given here. I went here for the 1st time ever today and saw Dr Murphy. I was absolutely concerned based upon what I was reading here. I believe he is absolutely misunderstood. He is thorough and wants to make sure you as the patient are making the right decision during his exam. I was so greatful for him today. 60 years experience and it shows. Maria and the other lady who works the front desk are super sweet and nice and helpful as well. Thank you Dr Murphy for what you do and thank you Maria for helping me pick out the right pair of glasses for my face!
If I could give less than one star, I would. I do NOT recommend Optical Outlet.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service my family and I received during our recent visit. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years, always bringing my four children here for their eye exams. Unfortunately, the experience we had was unacceptable and, regrettably, reflects an issue that has become usual during our visits, rather than a one-time occurrence. This has made me seriously reconsider continuing to use your services.
Despite having a scheduled appointment at 2:30 PM, I arrived early at 2:20 PM. Even so, I waited almost two hours before my daughter was finally seen at 4:00 PM, and we did not leave until 5:30 PM. During this time, several people without appointments were taken in before us, while the patients who respected their appointment times were left waiting which distrapted all my afternoon and evening plans
This shows a clear lack of time management, organization, and respect for patients' time. A nearly three-hour visit for a scheduled appointment is unreasonable and unprofessional. Walk-ins being seen ahead of scheduled patients makes the process feel chaotic and unfair.
The office was also clearly short-staffed, with only one doctor and no proper appointment flow. People who came simply to pick up their eyeglasses--which should require an appointment--were seen immediately, while scheduled patients continued to wait for hours.
After so many years as a loyal customer, I left extremely disappointed. If this is now considered their normal level of service, it is an excellent way to lose long-standing patients. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me that it may be my last visit to Optical Outlet.
I strongly encourage management to review their scheduling practices and respect appointment times so other families do not go through this same situation.
I want to give a huge thank-you to the receptionist LYDIA at Optical Outlets for truly going above and beyond. From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, patient, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to answer all my questions, made sure everything was handled smoothly, and genuinely cared about making my experience a great one. Customer service like this is rare and deserves recognition! Thank you so much Lydia for making sure we were completely satisfied !
If I could leave a zero review here, I would. I made an appointment in person last week for today. Appointment at 8:15am. Told to be here at 8am. Arrived at 8am. Doors locked. Lights off. Finally at 9am doors are unlocked. Receptionist says the schedule changed and they called to advise me on Saturday of change. I have no calls and no messages from them. But I do have 2 emails on Saturday and Sunday reminding me of appt at 8:15am. Also a text on both Saturday and Sunday reminding me of 8:15am appointment.
On another note, they rarely answer the phone when I call them. You get stuck in robo hell. Eventually, you're invited to leave your phone # and the next available representative will call you back. And, of course, they don't call you back.
And, finally, if you do make it through their entire lackluster system, the frames that they carry are expensive, the lenses are covered in smudged finger prints. Do they ever clean anything here?
I dont usually leave negative reviews. I go out of my way to give grace where it's due. But, today was the last straw. Avoid this place.
PS: I was not the only person caught in this this morning. There were several other people who also had 8am appointments that were equally upset that they had not been contacted or notified of the changed schedule.
I have been with this location for more than 7 years now. Sadly, the costumer services here is the worst I have experienced. The wait time is horrific ( 2+ hours). They have you get in line even to pick up contacts . As soon as you walked in , you are greeted with "the wait time is more than 1 hour, so come a different day". The receptionist acts and talks like if she is the owner of the place and makes you feel she is doing you a favor. The only person with an onz of costumer service is the doctor. Mostly employees are Hispanic and sadly some Hispanic act like they own the place and have no costumer services. I am Hispanic myself and my whole family as well, but I recognize when someone is wrong. I have to come back for the 3rd time to pick up my contacts because every time I go, they tell me the wait time for pick up is up to 1 hour. I am not going back to this location after I pick up my contacts. I will be looking for another provider.
Can't do no stars. Place is horrible. Call center said to do walk in w my daughter's appt for myself...they don't do walk ins. Dr won't work anything in. No care for customer's leaving work early etc. Already had to replace my child's glasses twice due to headaches for incorrect script on lenses and she still failed pediatricians eye exam. Check in counter person spoke broken bad English that couldn't be understood. Very ridiculous and rude. Customer service is horrid. And can't get things rt on first or 2nd time.
