Forest Family Eye Care Clinic

I mean this in the best way but one thing I like about Forest Family is it's simple. They don't have an army of eye "specialists" trying to have you spend 700.00 on a pair of glasses. Quite the opposite. I was told at another place I would not be able to do contacts anymore, yet the doctor here found me something I 'm very happy with. Same for my kids. I spent at least 300.00 less thn the other fancy places. I drive about an hour to there because I trust them with my family for our eye needs. It's worth the drive. And hey, they have a decent Chinese restaurant in the same plaza you can eat at after.

The doctor and receptionist at Forest Family Eye Care Clinic were incredibly welcoming and made my family feel right at home. They helped put both me and my very anxious teenagers at ease. Having recently moved to the area, we were nervous about finding a new eye doctor--especially since our previous one didn't seem to like working with kids, which always made our visits stressful. We're thrilled to have found such a friendly, professional doctor here!

Karen and I received an exam and purchased glasses from this establishment a little less than a year ago and caution anyone from using them. I have a cataract in my right eye that the doctor said wasn't bad enough to address, I am now scheduled for surgery. The glasses I purchased from them started fracturing at the hinges within a week and had to be sent back to the lab ...... Two times. The third pair, I am presently wearing, are doing the same. I have worn corrective lenses for over 60 years and this establishment has offered the worst service I have experienced. I gave them one star because the staff was friendly. Avoid at all costs

This office treats my mother like they are part of their family. My mother likes this place and the great care and has been going here for years. There are eye doctors closer to her but she won't go anyone else.

What to say about Forest fakily eye cebter. I gave then multiple chances to be like a normal eyecare place (having had glasses since 3 years old i know what to expect.) My relationship started off with being told im not a candidate for lasik with nary aj investigatu9n into my past prescriptions, i was also told to not even attempt a muscle rightening surgery for my lazy eye as the optometrist said "ive known somebody get it 3 times and it didn't work." It seems the optemetrist didnt even want tonhelp me with my vision, which was further cemented when 3 months down the road my prescription wasn't even readily available when needed. They were either incapable, or unwilling to sejd my prescriprtion via encrypted email (a process that in 2024 is easily achievable by even the most basic of offices. Their inability to do this has led me to be unabke to rush delivery glassesndue to the fourth of july weekend that has been ocxuring. All because they couldn't email a prescription to myselfnor even another facility that would do same day glasses. Because of them, and the stipukations on my license i have been stuck at home and had to even miss time for work. This is bordering on negligent behavior honestly. And has really left a terribke tadte in my mouth, gicen ive also had to type this with tereibke vision and my iob also is 90% vision based. Long story ahort, if you want a practice that is dependabke, with an optemetirst that actually seems willing to hekp, id recommend ANYWHERE else before forest famiky eye. If too many typos present ny apologies, id be a better speller had I had my glasses

I need a strong prescription lenses and the lady said I NEED to get small frames because it "won't be too heavy" me and my mother fairly disagreed because I've been wearing big glasses with the strong prescription for 14 years. Obviously I know what I like to wear on MY face. I went to Walmart and bought new frames because the frames at forest eye care only ones I liked was 200 dollars. She practically refused to send in and fill in prescription for my new frames I bought at Walmart. Ridiculous. Definitely going somewhere else now. People are nice but the customer is always right, can't tell a customer what NOT to buy.

Don't let your children be examined alone. When I was 10 years old I got an eye test done at this office. The Dr took me into the eye exam room without my mother and used air to blow the dilating drops into my eyes. I felt like I had been stabbed in both eyes I was rubbing my eyes and telling the doctor it hurts. Then he proceeded to berate me and talk down to me because I could not force my eyes to stay open and read the test. Now I am an adult and that experience pops up in my head quite often.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. I love my new glasses and the care that was taken to insure my needs were fully met. Thank you!
