Kutryb Eye Institute: Kutryb Michael J MD

I've been going here for a number of years, so has my wife and now one of our daughters. They are very professional, have some of the best equipment, and are very knowledgeable.

After getting successful cataracts surgery with Dr Kutryb I had my glasses made here. I require prisms and very few facilities will tackle this issue. Over the years I've tried several places in central Brevard and Orlando and I've never had the service, attention and cost consciousness anywhere else. After wearing glasses for over 30 years I learned more from both Brie and Odette than anywhere else. They were very patient with my idiosyncrasies, after all wearing a pair of glasses that you can't see correctly out of, are not comfortable or the frames are not really your cup of tea can make our lives absolutely miserable. They do get busy and sometimes they take longer than expected and it may be better to reschedule. Hope this review will help others with an important part of our body and our lives.

Both Dr' s I've had were very rude and disrespectful but they are knowledgeable well if you have money. If you are not wealthy stay away because they will pretty much push you to back of line...then laugh and smurk when I told them I have not had an exam in 4 yrs . It's funny I couldn't afford them I guess. I bet it won't be so funny when I see them around town.

I can't think of a single thing I would change about my experience. The staff is organized, efficient and personable. The attention to every detail is top notch. Dr Kutryb made me feel comfortable and relaxed about my surgery. A++

Eye doctor office wrote down wrong phone number when booking appointment. When I showed up, they would not see me and said they had been trying to call to get forms filled out. I did not receive any calls since they had the wrong number. Was refused service. Will go elsewhere.

Excellent staff. Excessive wait time had a 2:45 appointment and didn't get in until 3:40.

Front desk is incompetent. They are NEVER on time. Made my wife wait until 3:15 when her appointment was at 2:30. Made excuses about employees being out with covid. If you're short handed you book less patients! Pretty easy to figure that out. Spoke to the office manager who just made excuses and said they "don't have time" to call patients to let them know they are running behind by 45 mins. They would rather you wait in their waiting room for 45mins because their time is more important than the patients time. Billing is a joke. They billed a routine eye exam to my health insurance instead of my eye insurance. I finally got a bill for the appointment 10 months later. Will NOT be going back again. And I WILL be calling Dr. Kutryb to discuss his horrible front desk and office manager.

I had what I considered an eye emergency and called other places but luckily this one called right back after I left a message and got me in to see the dr. The doctor was very nice and explained things very clearly. After that healed and I had my regular eye exam the lady who helped pick out and fit glasses was great to - a really big help as I can be quite indecisive when picking out my eye jewelry so to speak. I didn't feel rushed whatsoever.
