America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I had a appointment yesterday at the location by WH Walmart. This was the best experience getting glasses I've ever had! Tiffany F. Was my tech helping me to pick out frames. She was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!! She took her time helping me pick out the frames that looked the best on me, AND would work for me at work. I won't ever go to anyone else for my eye care needs! This chick needs a raise! The entire staff at this location were professional, kind, & patient.

What a wonderful experience First the lady prescreenibg Tina was fabulous at she helped me and was very accommodating in my needs as I hadn't worn glasses in several years she explained every step of the process prior to doing it then the actual doctor herself was very personable and helpful and yet to add the best was Ryan my eyeglass consultation salesman ( not sure of his title I'm just guessing on that part ) he was very very patient with me as I had sat down first not knowing I was supposed to actually be looking for frames at the time and when it was my turn he then let me search for a frame that I wanted while he patiently waited then my insurance to make a long story short was bit confusing and my husband had a appointment later on the sane day so I came back and as a woman I decided on another set of then name brand frames Ryan patiently without any hesitation changed the order and fixed it in the computer as I know it was a pain to do I talked to him while waiting on my husband to finish his first tone ever exe exam and dilation he came out and Ryan then helped my husband chose a wonderful pair of Oakley glasses that he only will need for reading however was so thrilled with the service as well while speaking with this young man I realized he has been with this company 14 years that is truly amazing he was very dedicated and spoke highly of being there as I asked him several questions he seems to be a great asset to this company and I cannot thank yiu enough Ryan for the excellent support and customer service and conversation you provided to myself and my husband you truly deserve at least 5 stars I appreciate you and so does he thank you do much for making this visit to America's Best a wonderful customer experience and keep up the great work !

These people will waste your time! I waited an hour and a half for a simple eye exam. When that was finally completed, they would not release my forms to me unless I paid, stating that I had an out of network insurance. Clearly they are in network, see photo. Genuinely such degrading experience when they were the first provider to pop up as in network, and then treated me as if I was trying to steal from them. The doctor was professional, but the rest of the staff was not. I was even told at the front desk as I was checking in that I would have no copay. They also tried to charge me for an extra $20 eye test that I did not opt for. Very odd experience to say the least.

Receptionist, tech and the doctor were all wonderful today. Very patient and sweet. On the other hand, Mary, assistant manager, was absolutely awful. I came in today with a voucher for a free eye exam and 50% off eyewear given to me by a family member that was set to expire soon. I decided to only do the eye exam. Once the exam was over, I was handed over to Mary. Immediately Mary began to shame me for only selecting to do an exam. She started by saying "your family member should have never schedule you for a Saturday. Knowing it is my busiest day." She began going on about how business is not going well and it isn't fair for her to have to take a free eye exam coupon and miss out on money. That made me feel very uncomfortable and definitely made me keep my decision to not get any eyewear. Especially with her as my sales associate. This is not my first interaction with Mary. Over the years I've gone to this location, she has constantly had awful customer service towards her customers. And to Mary, it's not the free coupon that's affecting your sales, it's the awful attitude and pettiness towards your coworkers that makes customers (with a free coupon or not) no longer want to give their business to your location. I will be making the extra drive to ANY other location but Winter Haven.

My first time using Americas Best. I'll definitely use them again. The store was super clean, organized and easy to get to. The eye doctor was super friendly and listened to me. I didn't feel rushed. Paula was the one who helped me pick out my frames, lenses, etc. I had so many questions, and we tried many scenarios to see which would be my best option when it came to insurance or their in house deals. She was so patient and helpful.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating, Even after standing them out for an appointment due to an Insurance glitch. They were happy to fix my glasses quickly - at no charge - Despite the inconvenience to them.

I had such a great experience here. The staff took their time explaining everything and helped me pick frames that fit my style and budget. My glasses were ready fast and the quality is amazing. Definitely my go-to from now on!

So my one pair of glasses the arm broke so I went to this location because it was the closest as well as this is the company I got them from. I was then greeted by Jessica. I told her I was on a budget due to my husband and I just moved and of course my 1 year warranty was just up. She told me my one frame was discontinued but she did an amazing job looking for a frame where my lens would work with and was still in a good budget. She was able to find at least one frame and I love them! Best yet she was able to bring my price down just a tad more and I was beyond grateful for her. She was very knowledgeable with what she was talking about and doing. She was very understanding and very sweet. She is for sure a great employee and does great with what she does!
