20 20 Eyeglass Superstore of Winter Park

We've been going here for years and usually have a decent experience. I was due for a new prescription and wanted to get it done before our move so I didn't have to look for a new place at our new location. I so regret it now! I feel like I could have waited a few more weeks and gotten better service and frames somewhere else. First thing that pissed me off, was that no one mentioned that you have to pay for the exam now. We never paid for exams as long as we got our frames there. After my so called "exam", which consisted of speaking to virtual Doctors on a monitor after the tech did his thing, I started looking at frames and couldn't believe how expensive they were. The designer frames were $500+ and the cheapos were still in the $200-$350 range. I couldn't decide on anything because they were all hideous, so I eventually walked out with blah glasses and still spent close to $300. I have been buying designer frames there for years and never walked out of there spending more than $350. The girl "helping" me find frames was no help at all and looked quite bored. Anyway, I won't be going back to that place again, even if there's a 2020 where I move to. I would've gotten better treatment and maybe even less expensive at an actual Doctor's office, and gotten to actually speak to one IN PERSON. I would like to add that I just got notice that the credit card I used to buy my new glasses was used fraudulently as well. Thank God I didn't use my debit card!!!!!

I walked in to have my daughter's glasses fixed and was greeted very warmly by Lyanna. She was able to find my purchase and get the replacement in her glasses quickly. While I was there, Eric, Optometrist, helped better shape my glasses as well. Annette, ordered the replacement and worked on getting it transferred to another location closer to me. I literally was in there for less than 10mins and out the door. Excellent customer service provided.

Wonderful same day service. I have worn contacts for 23 years and never worn prescription glasses. Two days ago, I was told to discontinue wearing my contacts for 4 days to give my eyes a break, but I had no glasses to wear as an alternative. The best my optometrist could do was order some glasses that would take 10 - 14 days to come in. The next morning, I headed to 20/20 Eyeglass Superstore, knowing that I could get same day glasses. The experience was terrific. I found the frames I liked and had my glasses in hand an hour and a half later. What a powerful thing to be able to see again! Thank you to Eric and all the other friendly and capable people at the store who made this possible!

I had the most exceptional experience here at the Winter Park 2020 Eyeglass store. Annette was exceptional in explaining all of the points and next steps to me. I've been coming to the store for years and I've had nothing but The best experience from them, they care deeply about their customers. They take the time to explain everything. They are just things for you whatever it is that you are unhappy with they take care of it immediately. This is the go to store in Central Florida for glasses.

It's been a while since I've had my eyes reexamined and this was the best experience I could have asked for. Lyanna at the front desk was amazing help checking in and upon pickup of my glasses. Jonah was the technician that helped me and he was amazing answering questions and helping with my exam and Eric was the optician who assisted me in finding the best glasses for me. Highly recommend, everyone was amazing and very friendly!

Worst experience ever. Completely unacceptable. We went in just for an eye exam, and the waiting time alone was almost 2 hours. The entire experience was a complete waste of time. Nobody kept us informed about the delays, and we were left sitting and waiting with no explanation. The doctor took forever, and once we finally saw her, she was not helpful at all. She barely explained anything, and when we asked questions, she seemed uninterested in answering. We received vague, one- or two-word responses instead of a proper explanation of what was actually going on. It felt rushed and dismissive, not professional. The staff showed zero urgency or concern for patients' time. When it came to frame selection, the guy assisting us was clearly not interested at all--no guidance, no effort, no customer service. On top of that, the frame prices were 4 times higher, regardless of insurance. Be prepared to spend a lot if you plan to buy glasses here. To make things worse, my nearly two-hour wait didn't even include frame shopping. I ended up not buying anything because nobody was willing to help or work with us in any capacity. Overall, extremely poor service, terrible wait times, and overpriced frames. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I originally gave 2 stars because the staff is very friendly but the policy and product is questionable. My lightly used computer glasses experienced product failure after only 3 months. The arm fell off the frame and it was not the screw that came loose. I went in and was told it was under warranty but It would cost $30 for replacement frames and 10 days. Then I was told I could not glue them back together as it would void the warranty. Verry disappointed in the cheap frame that cost hundreds of dollars and failed after 3 months. I didn't have 10 days to wait so I just glued them together. I will be more careful to ask better questions about warranty at the nest location I will be using. *****Update. Thank You 20/20 Eyeglass Superstore for making this right. Because of this I will continue to give you my business.
