My insurance was not double checked so nobody could answer my question as to what vision benefits I actually was supposed to get. I was given my contact credit and then told to call my insurance to check about glasses because they couldn't or wouldn't figure it out. This was not a last-minute appointment. It had been booked months in advance, and I feel like if there was an issue where they could not figure out, then they should've contacted me about it ahead of time so I could take care of it myself and not have to make a second trip into the store. The exam itself was basically silent, despite me making inquiries. I really just did not get a response from the provider about what she was doing or why, and any responses I did get were extremely terse. I've seen her before and it's been fine. Maybe she was just having an off day, but it was not a friendly exam to say the least. I will not be coming back here based on this experience.

This was my 3rd visit to this Target Optical. First, the good points. The staff is nice, particularly the young woman. Appointments are convenient with evening and Saturday appts. Even when they're running late, they're still faster than Marietta Eye Clinic. The doctor I've seen, Dr. Oatman, seems to be competent, and she's honest. Now for the not so good points. It appears they work on commission because they try to sell you the most bells and whistles and the most expensive ones. The young gentleman Coty even put a $45 warranty on my bill without telling me he had done it. I almost never buy the warranty, and he didn't even ask. Also, he talks so fast, you have no idea what he's telling you. You can't talk to him because he doesn't listen well and interrupts. I asked about other colored frames for a particularly style and he acted like they didn't have any more until I told him the young lady who helped me last year said they had other colors. I really wish she had been working because she's helpful, patient, a good communicator and thorough. Skills Coty could work on. Last, Dr. Oatman said there's a small area of macular, but it hasn't gotten any worse than last year. Unless I'm badly mistaken, she didn't mention the problem last year. Ithink i would have rememberedthat. Well, that's my experience with them.

This was the best I exam interaction with the optometrist and everyone in the office that i've ever had. So very informative and took the time to explain to me various items of question and work through different plans.I would recommend them to anybody

The eye doctor was late coming back from lunch. I waited 20 minutes. She was rude and scowling!! When I asked her what my vision was meaning 20/60 etc. , she replied, "20/20." Which is not the case. When I asked what she meant, she said, " With your glasses on you are 20/20." That is not what I asked and she knew it. I clarified my question and she replied, " I don't do that. Your vision if off my chart." That is obnoxious. The young lady at the counter was amazing. She was helpful and answer all my questions. This young lady deserves 5 stars. However, you have lost a customer due to the eye doctors behavior.

Super easy visit! Everyone was nice and the doctor was great. Definitely recommend if you need an eye exam.

Rushed. OD associate has no personality nor personableness; she treats me like her life is miserable. Staff on the other hand is nice.
