I recently brought my son to Dr. Steele for an eye exam, and I'm so grateful for the amazing care she provided! As a parent, I was a bit nervous, but Dr. Steele's warmth and patience instantly put us both at ease. She connected with my son, explaining everything in a fun, clear way that made him feel comfortable and engaged. Her thorough exam and thoughtful answers to my questions showed her expertise and genuine care. The office felt welcoming, and the whole visit was smooth and stress-free. Dr. Steele is truly exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone needing top-notch eye care!

Very impressed with this Family Practice! Not only did they solve my eye glasses issues but they took the time to solve a problem I have had for years (dry eyes)! The (IPL) dry eye spa is a game changer! Unique frame styles no one else in town has to offer. The new dry eye treatment at the Broome Family Eye Care has been a great experience. The heat from the Forma-I treatment is very relaxing. I have learned a lot about the eye oil glands from Amy who is very knowledgeable about the procedure and the eye. I have yet to see all the effects of the treatments, but I can tell the difference in my eyelids sliding across my eyes without irritation.

First of all, I was very impressed by the thorough eye exams by both Doctors as I struggle with eye dryness among other things. Another eye Doctor in Grovetown was not nearly as precise and courteous. Moreover, I had the opportunity to be one of the first patients to try their newly offered Intense Pulsed Light (ILP) therapy, which was truly improving my eye dryness as well as helping with overall puffiness! Even my slight under eye bags have improved and I couldn't be happier as I contemplated surgery before. If you struggle like me, please reach out about this non-invasive treatment that addresses the underlying cause of many dry eye cases. It almost feels like a soothing spa treatment. On top of this, I received Dr. Broome's laser treatment for hyperpigmentation around the eyes, cheeks and nose. I am prone to this as well and just after 2 treatments, I noticed visible results that no OTC high end eye cream could provide. Highly recommend!

RF and IPL and the Dry Eye Spa are wonderful additions to Broome Family Care's already amazing offerings! The Spa is super relaxing and I'm seeing a difference in my dry eye and fine lines around my eyes. Amy and Dr Platt have been awesome with explaining things and delivering treatment.

1st visit was fine. Tried to schedule a second visit 1 year later when my glasses got scratched badly. They were unable to fit me in for 4 weeks. I called back and requested to be added to wait list. No call backs. Called another company with a much higher rating and they got me in next day. Canceled Broome appointment.

My family has been going here for nearly 10 years. The front desk staff have always been polite, attentive and aware. On 8 Sep my son completed his exam, we went to the counter to settle our bill (the lady that checked us in was perfect). I did not recognize either staff member working our bill. There have been staff changes over the past year. My son and I stood there for two to three min and neither looked up to recognize us. I asked if we are at the right spot, I received an eye roll and was, told, "we are getting your bill ready..." As I spoke, the second young lady cut me off and proceeded to ask the other young lady for help. I immediately said, stop, I am speaking to her right now... you both ignored us and now you cut me off... The young lady stated she was new and gave me the death stare. Apparently the one I was speaking to, was training the other. Both were completely daft of our presence, neither were truly sorry, it was as if we were a bother. I did say it's important to not interupt a customer and acknowledge them. All they had to say was, "We are working your paperwork and need just a second..." Instead my son and I were made to feel as if we were a bother. The more senior eye glass fitting team heard me. Not sure what their take is on this, but both have been there for years, no one took the initiative to deflate the situation, to lead... When new team members are brought on, it's important to train the basics, especially to the younger staffers. We still like the overall team. However, if new staff are going act this way as mentioned in other reviews, we may look to a more reserved, professional organization.
