On November 17th 2025 we had the pleasure of working with Dawn the Asst Mgr at the Gainesville GA location. Dawn was very professional and helpful in dealing with a change in my prescription for an older frame from over a year ago. Furthermore she really went out of her way to help my wife Sunne recent prescription with progressive type lens and frame that had not worked out. We want to let the company understand she is very knowledgeable and it means a lot since several months had already past to do the exchange for sunne frames. Keep up the great work Dawn.

America's best on dawsonville hwy has excellent service ! Everyone in the location has smiles and is super helpful... I want to shout out Luna who was so sweet and kind and helped me with my frames and my lenses and Dr cotto who was so talkative and friendly . 10 out of 10 I recommend this location !

Absolutely wonderful staff! They grabbed me right at my appointment time and I was completely done in about 30min including checking out. Pamela was so welcoming and calmed my nerves. I have not been to an eye doctor in 3 years and not once did they make me feel ashamed about it. Dr. Park was also very efficient and professional and walks you through everything in an easy to understand manner. You can really tell he's passionate about helping people with their vision. I don't have insurance so the price of everything was really a shock! Below $70??? Unheard of in this economic mess lol. This included my eye exam, 2 glasses, and some other test I forgot the name of. Walmart alone was going to charge me about $80 for an eye exam. I'm really glad I called this place to inquire about an eye exam. They also give you your prescription without you having to ask. It's really appreciated in case someone wants to buy their glasses online because of low funds. I'll for sure be making this my go to place!

I have been coming to America's best for years. Today 12/28/25 LUNA was so unprofessional super rude. She doesn't like her job and is NOT a people person no customer service skills whatsoever! Made my experience terrible!

Dr. Cotto is the first eye doctor to make me feel comfortable- I will absolutely ONLY see her going forward because she's that fantastic. Then Scott, the sales associate, made me feel like a model with my new frames, he was very helpful in selecting my frames as well as thoroughly explaining my options without being pushy. Very pleasant experience & now I want to be friends with both! Even the receptionist was incredibly pleasant! Big fan of this location! :)

I went to get eye exam contacts and glasses today. Apparently I missed a couple of lights in one of the computer test and she told me that I would have to reschedule with the dr. They have no dr on site and the dr would be video appt. Why wasnt I told? apparently, it's in very very fine print on form. So who does the exams??? I said no thanks ill go somewhere else.

If I could give ZERO stars it would be great! The Gainesville location is crap! Please don't go there. Had an Appointment for my daughter and was 8 mins late after driving over a hour to get there, there was 4 wrecks we ran into on the way. I even called and told them was gonna be late because can't control traffic etc..walked In and was told had to be rescheduled due to being late..I was livid! They were so RUDE!!! so I called the Athens location and got her appointment with no problem and was treated like a human at that location! The Athens location is the best so with Experience please don't go to Gainesville they suck!!! And yes I'll say it a million times the Gainesville location sucks don't was your time go to Athens!!!!! They will treat you better

Easy to make an appointment online and very punctual. Good eye docs and nice customer service techs. I took advantage of the 2/$79 eyeglasses deal they had and am very happy. My only nit is the time it took to get the glasses made and to me . . . it was about 2.5 weeks and i had to go there to see if they had them. No call, but they were there.
