Eye Site Family Vision Center

I've been coming to this eyeglasses place for about 17 years, since I was 5 and have always loved this place and been more than willing to pay 500+ for a pair of glasses I could get way cheeper somewhere else because of the staff here. Rewind to a month and a half ago I ordered a pair of warranty replacement glasses and they said it would take about a week to come in. I gave it 2 weeks before I called them due to the holidays and they said they were still being made. I called back a week later and they said they were never even ordered and that they had no record of me paying for them at all and that they would call me back when they found the record of it, they never called me back. I called back Monday and asked if they were there yet and they said that that had just got in and that they were first on the stack to be finished and I told the lady about how it made me so nervous because I was told that they had never even gotten ordered and I'd been without glasses for a month and a half and it was swiftly dismissed which is whatever but rude concerning your employee told me id have to reorder these glasses I ordered and had been waiting over a month on. Fast forward to today I walk in to pick the up after driving 2 hours to get them and that are not ready, this is 2 days after I was told they'd be ready. This whole encounter has been nothing but unpleasant and I'm sorry to say that I probably won't be returning.

Called Eye Site early one morning because my daughter had an eye infection that was not pink eye. Even with a full schedule they encouraged us to come right over. The Eye Site does not take insurance. Their receptionist was up front about this on the phone when I called so I could decide if I still wanted to use their services. I was a little surprised but, because they don't take insurance, their prices are very reasonable! It was just $85 for our last minute doctor's visit and we also had an optional deep scan done of the back of my daughter's eyes for only an additional $20. The office was busy when we arrived but staff were managing guests efficiently and the doctor was able to see us with a minimal wait. Dr. Gabrels was great. Concerned, knowledgeable and thorough. His examination room had all the latest ophthalmic equipment and his attitude was calm and reassuring. He was able to diagnose her eye condition and give us a prescription in just a few minutes. In two days she was well on her way to being completely better! We are really appreciative of the great treatment we received at the Eye Site. I would absolutely visit again for any of our eye care needs.

I broke a nose piece off of my glasses, because I tried to adjust them, they always slid down and became crooked on my face. I left the glasses at their office, I went back a couple hours later, the young lady fixed the nose piece and adjusted it without me even being there. Guess what they haven't moved on my face for hours. Thank you young lady good job.

If I could give this office 0 stars, I would. My son's first appointment was cancelled due to an emergency. No big deal. The second appointment, we drove all the way there just to be told there was no doctor in the office. They said they thought they called everyone on the schedule. Obviously not. Today we're finally able to be seen, and after waiting for 30 minutes in the waiting room listening to them try to upsell this lady, we finally go back. For a "family vision center," I'd be willing to bet this doctor has never met a child, let alone performed an eye exam on one. He had the bedside manner of a rock. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy.

The doctor has helped my son see and I will be forever grateful. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful experience here!! My son was sent here from something at school with an exam he failed at school and they treated us so good.
