American Eyecare Centers

Went in today for my annual exam (a year late) and experienced the same great service as always. It was refreshing to see a business with the same level of service as pre-covid days. It was easy to get an appointment, I was seen by the doctor at my appointment time, the exam was efficient yet still thorough and I walked out pleased with my choice in glasses.

We were evacuated from Murrells Inlet SC due to hurricane Florence. On Saturday I went to put in my lenses and one was torn and I didn't bring any with me because they were in the mail that hadn't been delivered before we left. I located American Eyecare Center on line and called to see if they carried my prescription and they did. The young man who answered the phone was so nice. He said to come on in. When I got there he was just the most accommodating and sweetest young man I have met in a long time. I offered to pay for the lens and he said that they were free of charge as they had them for patient trials. I would highly recommend American Eyecare to everyone living here or just visiting. 9/15/2018

I was in St. Simons for a wedding and lost the only contacts I had. I called my optometrist in Atlanta and they called American Eyecare Center in order to fill my prescription. Instead of having to buy boxes of contacts in this emergency situation, the doctor at American Eyecare Center was INCREDIBLY accommodating and generous and just gave me some trial pairs to hold me over for the night. I can't say enough about the customer service here. THANK YOU!
