McMann Eye Institute

I was visiting Oahu from Washington State when I had a serious change to the vision in one eye. Dr. McMann fitted me into his busy schedule and diagnosed my problem. He was very friendly and compassionate, and was able to explain his diagnosis in easy to understand language. He referred me to a specialist for treatment. Thank you to Dr. McMann and his excellent staff for helping to save what could have been a serious problem.

Diane and Dr. McMann were great! Diane got me in as I was on a time limit to get my eyes corrected. She was very informative of this procedure. Dr. McMann was very polite during my appointments. During the procedure, he kept telling me what he was going to do and ask if I was okay. I had a very pleasant experience with McMann Eye Institute. I highly recommend this institute.

Dr. Mcmann is a great ophthalmologist! He has now put two new lenses in my eyes. I now have Monofocal eyes! lol It has been very pleasant going to see Dr McMann. The day of surgery the Dr. and his team work so well together to make sure you are so comfortable and understanding of what you are expected when you get home. The whole experience has been great for having to get cataract surgery at 53. Update: Post Op 4 wks left eye That eye I couldn't see out of at all before surgery. Now I can read pretty much anything without my cheaters. Post Op 10 days right eye I can see the smallest print and my eye is really crisp. I had pretty good vision in my right eye already, but I can see a lot more I have to use the word crisp again. It's just that really fresh looking if that makes sense. Things are brighter a guess is what I am trying to say. Dr, McMann really did a wonderful job if I must say! Thank you Dr. McMann Update: After struggling with dry eyes for years Dr. Michael McMann put plugs in my ducts to stop the overflow of tear that I had. By the time I got home my eyes had stopped watering. It's an easy 5 second step the doctor does in the office. It's awesome. I can finally drive again! I have my Vision in my eyes are not watering. Thanks Dr. McMann Update: After another visit to Dr. McMann's office my vision is still great The doctor put new plugs in my eyes to keep them from watering. His office is always so kind and welcoming. He has the best staff. Thank Dr.McMann

Dr McMann is a great and patient doctor who took time with me and I never felt rushed. I had to get a pterygium removed and was recommended to Dr McMann. Glad I went! My eye looks way better now. His staff is great too!

Staff are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful! Dr. McMann was comforting, communicative, and performed a wonderful pain free lasik surgery with better than expected results! I would highly recommend them for Lasik.

Just want to give an update after the Lasik procedure. It's been 3 years and my vision is still great. I wish I would have decided to do this with Dr McMann 15 years ago. I was just scared to trust anyone with my eyes. The procedure went great. He talked me through every aspect and prepared me for what to expect. Worrying about something going wrong when doing something optional for your eyes is very frightening, but Dr McMann did awesome work. I went from having a hard time finding my glasses in the morning with -5.50 contacts vision to over the last 3 years just opening my eyes in the morning and going. The fatigue from using contacts and glasses are gone. I used to get tired and irritated by 7 pm because of dry contacts and eye irritation. It feels like since that's gone, I get an extra 4 hours of energy a day. Thanks Dr McMann. You made my life better.
