Came here last minute bc i lost my sunglasses on vacation. within an hour was walking with new glasses! The staff IS SUPER FRIENDLY and thoughtful! 20/20 experience

Dr Redden ruined my eyesight by not listening to what I wanted my eyesight to be after cataract surgery. Right before my first surgery he told me I would never need glasses again, except for reading. That was the opposite of what I wanted. So 10 months later, I have to wear glasses all the time, and my ability to read has deteriorated immensely. Also the front desk staff is inept at calling patients. They claimed to have called on a specific date, but I have no record of it. Also they look VERY unprofessional with all the babies behind the desk.

Don't go to the doctor in Hawaii, they say! The technology is horrible compared to the main land, they say! Not this place! I've gone here for a couple of year, and to say I'm impressed, would be an understatement! Friendly service, great technology, fast and knowledgeable! Very happy To have found Bennett's Eye Institute!

Eye Center of Hawaii aka Bennett helped save my left eye. They saw me on no notice, did a very thorough evaluation and diagnosis, and most importantly, IMMEDIATELY connected me with a highly qualified retinal surgeon in Honolulu to perform the necessary emergency care. The doctors, technicians and support staff, were all fantastic in helping me getting the treatment I needed fast. I highly recommend them

I'm not one for reviews but I do appreciate them when it comes to knowing about a business & how they care for their customers. If I could choose no stars I would for this business as I've experienced such unprofessional behavior & to be honest it's been disheartening. I've been going to this eye care center for years & what I've experienced with my last appointment has sent me looking for another place to get my eyes checked. November of last year I got my annual done & needed to get a new prescription for my contacts as the one I had would be expired soon. It's almost February & I have yet to receive my prescription for the year & I'm on my last set of contact lenses (I use daily's!). The amount of times I've called & showed up to this place regarding the issue just to be given the run around is heartless to the utmost extent. Very rude customer service & seems like nobody knows what's going on. I feel like I've fallen into a black hole with them. The turn around for workers at this business is sad as there's always new people who have no idea what they're doing & don't care. The worst part is I paid for these services & have gotten nothing yet. I was told two weeks ago that my original order for trial contacts was lost in the mail. I had to find that out by physically going to there place of business because I was tired of hearing all the excuses over the phone! I wasn't even given a courtesy call. THE WORST COMMUNICATION EVER!! All I want is my prescription so that I can order my contacts. Is that too much to ask? Don't be fooled by there four star review. I wouldn't recommend going to this eye care center unless you want to be treated unfairly & given the run around for something that's so simple. I just don't understand. Please do better!!

I have macular degeneration and not sure if I would be able to get treated here on the Big Island . My search led me to the Eye Center of Hawaii where I spoke with Nan who assured me I could receive treatment at this clinic, Mahalo to Nan for answering all my questions and the help to get me here. On my first visit I was greeted by friendly staff at the front desk where I met Joelie who has been so helpful to me each visit Mahalo . They gave a thorough set of tests with each having helpful staff to tell me what they were doing. This clinic has very up to date technology to check your vision. So grateful Dr Miller did the tests as they revealed I had been too long between injections. After tests were done which went from one station to another in a short time I met Dr Miller who explained all the tests and what they revealed and how he would do the injection before proceeding. His proven technique is as pain free as you can get in my opinion and recovery was excellent without any follow up pain or discomfort. This clinic is top notch with prompt care by professional staff .Mahalo to all the staff and Dr Miller for the great care

My grandson had a problem with his eye while we were vacationing in Hawaii. We were seen at Eye Center in Honolulu with a follow-up here. Both offices were very professional and very helpful. I am very grateful.
