Absolutely satisfied with the service here. I walked in to see if they could fix my glasses--one pair had a temple completely falling off with no screw. Without hesitation, the woman helping me, repaired them to look and feel brand new. She also adjusted my other pair that didn't fit properly. The service was fast, effective, and very well priced for such amazing work. Highly recommend--thank you!

This is where I have bought my eyeglasses for years! I get the BEST customer service provided possible by Ave. (sp)?! She goes over and beyond to ensure that my prescription eyeglasses are the ones that I want and NEED to fit my needs. I am so grateful that she is working at this wonderful company, as they only deserve the absolute best as well. She makes it fun to pick out glasses that have to go on my face! Lol I am super hard on equipment and I'm grateful for the service I have been provided with at Eyewear of Kona for the past fifteen years. I was on vacation and got tumbled by some waves and my glasses got bent in the process. Eyewear Kona was open and able to accept a walk-in. They fixed my glasses in just a few minutes and were very affordable! I can't recommend them enough.

Dr. Nguyen was able to explain why my contacts had shifted in my eyes for the years I have been wearing them, took the time to show me examples of the issue I was having and helped me find a contact brand that would be better for the specific eye shape I have. His staff is wonderful. I cannot recommend Eyewear Kona enough.

Was visiting the island and my son rolled over and snapped one of my lenses off the frame and bent the entire leg... was super nervous and worried about finding a repair place for my glasses as I am almost blind without them. Luckily for me Eyewear Kona's service was efficient, superb, and excellent of the highest class and at an insanely affordable price for an emergency repair. Even though my glasses weren't even covered by their warranty as I bought them elsewhere, they still helped me and gave me the utmost service as if I was a years long regular clientele. I HIGHLY recommend for anything vision or eyeglass related! This is the best place in Kona!

We were driving back to our hotel in Waikoloa during our vacation when my wife discovered that the temple of her beloved YSL sunglasses had gotten badly twisted, making them unusable. (She might have accidentally sat on them.) Sunglasses are essential gear in Hawaii, so in a bit of a panic, she searched "eyeglass repair near me" and found Eyewear Kona--just a mile away! We arrived about 15 minutes before closing, and they welcomed us warmly, immediately noticing our tourist attire. After inspecting the damage, the optician said gently, "I can try to repair it, but there's a chance the temple might break." We told her to please go ahead. A few minutes later, she came out and said, "I'm sorry..." Our hearts sank--until she smiled and handed the sunglasses back, perfectly repaired and good as new! We were overjoyed and asked how much we owed. She simply said, "No charge. Have a great vacation in Hawaii." We were touched by her kindness and the true spirit of Hawaiian hospitality. On our next visit, we plan to bring her a box of chocolates to say thank you. (By the way, Google Maps was a little off--it sent us circling the block before we finally found the shop!)
