Dr Susan Senft literally saved our vacation! During a visit to the big island my wife started to see "floaters" and her ophthalmologist back home immediately sent us to the ER. They didn't have an ophthalmologist on call but directed us to Dr Senft. It was her day off but she agreed to meet us at her office to conduct an impromptu examination on a Saturday evening. As it turned out, it didn't require immediate attention so we were able to proceed with our vacation, BUT if she didn't do that for us we would've been forced to cancel our vacation and take the next flight back to Oahu and see a specialist there. Bottom line, this type of professional courtesy is so rare these days and gives us faith in human kindness at a time of real need.
