Dr. Oman was wonderful. Very nice and super friendly. However, the office staff who handles the billing/insurance portion of the appointments were the complete opposite. We were told our child's glasses would take about 2 weeks. After several calls and status checks, we kept getting the runaround. 4 1/2 weeks later, we were told the glasses were in and that we owed a HUGE lumpsum. We were under the impression they had billed insurance. After speaking with ASHLEY, we were informed rudely that they supposedly could not reach directly to them & that we were more than happy to do it ourselves. Very unprofessional & we wished we would have been told this in the beginning to avoid the wait time. Fortunately, we have another center who will guarantee good customer service from the office & ensure our glasses will be covered & delivered in a way shorter time frame. Not impressed, poor experience.

Dr. Eric Pierce did a wonderful job in taking care of my visit as well as Dr. Oman who checked my sons eyes. Dr. Pierce was super transparent on all details about my vision which was greatly appreciated as most places rush the appointment without much informing. Very great culture through the office. First visit here and definitely won't be the last!

Dr. Oman was wonderful! In past eye exams (in different locations), I felt like I was rushed and wasting the doctor's time. Such a different and BETTER experience at the Burley Eye Care Center! Friendly staff as well. Knowledgable. Understanding. Patient. I really feel like I was being helped. So thrilled to SEE again--or maybe even for the first time!

The Dr. is fine, the billing gal is fine, the receptionist is fine.... The lady that takes you to the back to do the procedures before the doctor is absolutely awful (it's the white gal, not the Hispanic lady)!! Terrible attitude, bossy, pushy and ridicules you if she doesn't like your answers. She was angry I didn't come in 30 minutes early for paperwork, nobody told me I needed to come 30 minutes early. And, i was there 15 minutes early anyway. I heard her snap at two other patients while I was taking care of my co-pay. This happens everytime we come in here. My wife and seven kids are done with this place.

Dr. Oman was super nice very friendly. The staff up front was nice. Maria was absolutely horrible. Very rude and unprofessional. When I went in with how I felt Dr. Oman was very apologetic he tried to make it right but I decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope this dont happen to anyone else. Thank you.

Had to cancel my appointment the morning of the day my appointment was because of a family emergency i was told it was 30 dollars because It wasn't a 24 hour notice. Thats the most ridiculous thing I have heard of. Life happens. Will not be returning i made an appointment in Rupert to be seen and canceled my appointment here. Wouldn't recommend

After 14+ years of going to this place I recently had to transfer elsewhere due to four "no shows" on their records the entire time I've been with them. Grant you I'm pretty sure one of those mentioned when I spoke to them happened when I was a minor and was still living with my parents. Either way those were held against me. Besides that I always hesitated to call their office because you never know what kind of mood the office staff was in they could be very rude and unprofessional like. We use to see Dr. Pierce he does an excellent job especially with children that's one of the main reasons why I continued to go their even with the receptionists being so ignorant I use to recommend them to family and friends as well but after my own experiences with them I will no longer be using their services.

My first review was 5 years ago and I am still as impressed as I was then. Dr Pierce is very knowledgeable and he takes the time and explains everything very well. I have always felt respected and important. He is personable, has a great sense of humor, and family orientated. When it comes down to decisions he explains insurance costs and options, and I have never felt pressure to get extras . .
