Dr. Justin Heintz is an outstanding optometrist. From the moment I walked in, the office was welcoming, organized, and professional. Dr. Heintz took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire exam. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and I never felt rushed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was efficient and pleasant. I truly felt like I was in great hands. Dr. Justin Heintz at Parkway Eyecare makes my family and me feel comfortable with the entire optical examination from the time we walk into his office until we leave with glasses and contacts. The first time we were in his office, he explained step-by-step in easy-to-understand terms what was happening and why specific tests were being conducted. I have Type 2 diabetes, so I appreciate the time and care he takes to explain what's going on with my eyes during my annual examinations. It's comforting to know that his state-of-the-art retinal camera will accurately show any details that my endocrinologist needs to be aware of. I have for many years went to Dr. Kohler, and I could still go to him in Shelley but I had met Dr Heintz this past summer and felt comfortable going to him. Dr Heintz makes you feel comfortable and not rushed and he listen well. He's a true professional in every way.

I'm getting to the age that I'm losing my near vision. After a few frustrating visits to an optometrist from a different office to get a Rx that would allow me to still wear contacts, I thought I would have to resign myself to bifocals. The prescriptions just didn't work for me. My wife told me to try Dr. Heintz, and I'm glad I did! He explained that different manufacturers of the contacts use different methods to simulate bifocals and gave me several different samples to try. It was amazing how much difference it made for me. After wearing each sample, I settled on one that allowed me to still read my phone AND drive without feeling a little dizzy like my previous contacts. As my eyes age more, I may reach the point where contacts don't make sense, but the time and expertise Dr. Heintz shared has allowed me to postpone that for now and maintain the active lifestyle I enjoy. I appreciate that he went above and beyond to help me achieve that. Thank you, Dr. Heintz!

This visit was my first with the Dr. He was very patient and kind. He explained what he was going to do and explained the procedure as he did it. I was very happy and impressed with his new state- of- the- art equipment. I look forward to a long professional relationship with him. His receptionist was also very kind and patient.

Dr Heintz and his team are amazing team! My loupes for doing surgery broke and needed quick repair, they got it fixed in a few minutes. This saves me from having to send them off for weeks and be without when I very much need them.
