I have been going to these guys for over a decade and they have treated me so well they are some of the best doctors out there they are always willing to help me with anything I needed they get it done. My insurance doesn't cover alot of things but they make sure some how to get those things taken care of. I have been to all the offices and that's what else makes them easy to get an appointment there is always one open at one of their locations.
I have referred alot of people here and will continue. If there was a reward I would have alot of them.
Thanks I Intermountain for everything you do for me.
I have been to this clinic a few times recently. I had a problem with my eye and the front desk staff were very friendly and the doctor who saw me was nice and gave me a prescription that helped.
I came back to have an eye exam for glasses and contacts, I had the same doctor who is very friendly and the exams went well. They dilated my eyes, and the process went smoothly.
The lady who helps people size their glasses was very friendly and helped my pick out my new glasses
It was a very nice experience both times I've visited this clinic. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
I had a first time appointment a year ago and it went awful! they showed to be disorganized, they messed up my appointment and were passive aggressive to me. Forward a year later the VA mistakenly made an appointment with them since they are the closest ones and for the sake of time I decided to give them another try and it went worst than the first time. They messed up my name, location of appointment and they had my sensitive information all backwards and their was no common sense to resolve the issue. I asked to speak with however is in charge and when talking to office manager did not help at all. I was able to finally speak with a Doctor Physician and it was different experience, he was nice and cordial, listen to the issue and was able to use his common sense to resolve the matter. I see that there are a lot of bad reviews for this location, the only few good ones are about the actual Doctor Physicians, I believe that the issue is with the front office personnel who are the face of this officer and deal with the patients, the professional personnel/Doctors, are a different story. I hope they fix that because it is awful how they treat patients.
I have been going to this office for several years now. I love my doctor. However, the front desk staff is rude and disrespectful. I watched as a patient came out from the doctor and the staff member just grabbed the paperwork from the patient without even looking at her. Then turned around and started bitching to the other front desk person about another office member. Patients should never see this nor be treated this way. This is not a one time deal. It is every time I go in.
This was going to be a three star review, but they sort of redeemed themselves when I saw them yesterday. Front desk staff is not what they should be. When I was there to check in for my appointment I had to stand there for almost 10 minutes while they answered phone calls. The first time I called for an appointment, I expressed the need to see an ophthalmologist. They then made an appointment for me with an optometrist, who then said I needed to see an ophthalmologist. When I asked if the desk why they had made an appointment with an optometrist, they told me that all of their doctors were cross-trained and were skilled in all the same things except surgery, which is of course a tremendous lie. However, I went back yesterday and saw Dr Stevens, who is about as nice a specialist as you will ever meet in your life. He also took care of me immediately, because he saw that I was in urgent need of treatment. They injected my eyes, a procedure I've had before. Previously I had always had a lot of pain for two days afterward. This office has a unique step that they do where they wash your eyes out after the treatment and I had almost zero pain. I'm really sold on Dr Stevens and his incredibly competent and kind assistant whose name I can't remember (Carson?) For now, I'll let them get away with a four star rating.
Update: front desk is much much nicer and friendly now.
For second time Unbelievable rude front desk staff!!!!! I can't believe we received such horrible, unbelievable horrible check in experience!!! I don't write negative review, but this time I can't pass it!!!! Doctor and nurses are amazing and polite! But front desk is unbelievable rude! I never, never had such horrible check in experience anywhere else in medical centers!
I would rate IE at a 4 star because it could be better in administrative stuff. However, Dr. Betts is 5 star. He performed 2 cornea transplants that went very well and I am very pleased with him and the results.
Worst eyecare place I have been to. My PCP recommended them saying they were in network for my vision plan. For starters, they don't do the photo of your eye like everyone else. They only do old school dilation, which sucks because it messes up your vision for like 6 hours afterwards and makes it really hard to go back to work. Second, make sure you have your insurance card for your vision plan because they can't look up anything in the office. Every other vision office seems to be able to but not this one. My employer doesn't even give you a vision card because nobody ever needs it. So when they asked me for my insurance card I was caught off guard and just gave them my normal insurance card, and then later called them and gave them my eye care card because they couldn't find my vision coverage. And then turns out my vision plan is not even covered by their office so now I have to pay for the whole thing out of pocket. They couldn't even figure out who my insurance was through, despite me going to 1-800-contacts and just plugging in my name and birthday and it finds my insurance information in like 1.5 seconds but this office can't seem to do that. So basically, because of their ineptitude I am out the $278 for the eye exam.
