Verlyn D. Broek, OD

I've seen Dr. Broek off and on for many years. I saw him again today because my eyes were bothering me. He's so patient, understanding, kind and so thorough. And Becky, his receptionist was sweet, quick and complete with my insurance. My husband and I both highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Broek for my eye care and eye ware for over 20 years ! He is the best! Reasonable priced and really takes his time with his patients. Becky is amazing and welcoming at the door or over the phone. Great team! Always a wonderful experience and peace of mind knowing my eyes top priority. Dr Broek is very thorough and comical.

We lived in Twin Falls for many years and Dr. Broek came highly recommended. We began going to him for our eye check ups, glasses, contacts, etc. He is fantastic! Super nice guy. Even when one of my vision prescriptions didn't feel correct after a week or so, he accepted the glasses back, got a new vision prescription made for me, and replaced the lenses for free. We have always felt comfortable going to Dr. Broek. Perfect for the whole family!

Dr. Ron Broek, is amazing for the following reasons: #1. I was traveling in California and my contacts were damaged, I tried calling my current eye doctor and he would not send a prescription until I saw him because my current prescription ended a few months ago. However, Dr Broek took care of me and understood that I needed to see for a 8 hour car drive back home. #2. He is my Mom's eye doctor and I only wish he was my eye doctor because I live in Utah. #3. He cares more about patients then his pocket book and because of this I want to send more business to him. #4. He is the best eye doctor I have had the opportunity to work with! Thank You!

I have gone to Verlyn since I was like 6. I'm 23 now. He has done all of my contacts and glasses for as long as I can remember. I recently moved to Utah and tried out a new eye doctor that was rude, and tried to overcharge me for every little thing. I called Verlyn and his office was able to order me contacts at the price I have always paid. I can't go anywhere else! His contacts always fit better than anyone I've been to and he's turned into a family friend through the years. I'm so thankful for all of his kindness and amazing work on mine and my family's eyes! :)

I generally avoid leaving negative reviews, but my recent experience with this business compels me to share. I urgently needed an appointment with an optometrist, and while the receptionist's tone was off-putting, I decided to proceed. On the day of my appointment, I called 15 minutes before they opened to confirm my 10 AM appointment, arriving 30 minutes early. Shockingly, the receptionist claimed she confused me with another Daniel, despite admitting my pre-opening call. What further disappointed me was that they turned me away, even though it was the receptionist's mistake. This unprofessional behavior has led me to seek alternative optometrists, and I strongly advise others to do the same, even if it seems like your last option.

I saw Dr. Broek for the first time a few months ago as I had worsening vision issues. He diagnosed cataracts and referred me to another doctor here in town that performed the surgeries on both eyes. Start to finish, I couldn't have dreamed of such a flawless process. Highly recommended.

The lady at the front desk is unbelievablely rude. I tried to take my 4 year old daughter in to use the restroom while a family member was in a different appointment, and she refused to let me. I was literally standing in the office with a crying toddler because she just wanted to use the restroom. This woman made me realize exactly why humanity is failing. DO BETTER. She is a child!
