Marion Eye Center

Absolutely HORRIBLE place to go. We had to wait two months for an appointment and the receptionist is so RUDE and has a TERRIBLE attitude every time I spoke with her. It was a follow up visit from a ER visit regarding his eye that he's been having the same issue with for the last two months since they wouldn't see him earlier. My husband took time off of work to go for the appointment after we confirmed the appointment on Friday the 30th (picture below). He went there today, Tuesday the 3rd, and told him there was no doctor to see him and that they "forgot" to call after we previously confirmed the appointment Friday. Absolute joke and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I love the Mount Vernon, Illinois location and staff. Not real thrilled at the staffer here in Benton. I was late for my appointment, I tried to reschedule for later this week and was told my optometrist was going to be out for several weeks, I said just let me see another optometrist. She said they will not do that. I said so I am suppose to not have glasses til mid January! Shrugs said yes with a terrible attitude. So they found me a spot at 345 here I am

My son and daughter have both went there. They were all nice but after the fact of having their eyes dialated, they were not that understanding. Both of their eyes stayed dialated for two whole days and they brushed it off like it was normal when I called and since they have dark brown eyes, they said it takes longer to go down. My daughter had hers done 5 years ago and it was the same issue, my son was very recent. There were no other issues after they had them done thankfully but a child's eyes shouldn't stay dialated for two whole days. I don't know what is in their drops, but I found that to be ridiculous. We probably won't be back and we will not get their eyes dialated ever again. I shouldn't have done it after my daughter's issue.

All of the staff were absolutely amazing with my little girls! I felt their exams were very thorough compared to other places I've taken them in the past. Also have a great selection on glasses!

They always schedule so I don't have a waiting time. I feel comfortable with testing and that it's been done thoroughly. The doctor is always easy to work with and I answers any questions I have. My choice of glasses and picking them was made easy.

They are rude and hateful.They give you a appointment for 3 o'clock. Tell you to show app by 3 o'clock or they'll cancel and then you sit there for an hour. before you're even seeing.. the benton office

The West Frankfort store ( which is wonderful) referred me to the Marion store. The Marion office staff did not do their job and the laughed when explaining that it would be another week before I could be seen ( the day before my nieces wedding). I called the West Frankfort office again, they got me into the benton office. The Benton office was very professional, had everything clean, and all paperwork in order. I was very impressed. Could you imagine needing that sore area needing to come off your eye and all that bruising a day before a wedding.

I was working out of town and my eye started hurting. They got me right in and prescribed me some eye drops to make it better. They are great.
