I had my first visit with Dr. Atwood today, and I must say, she impressed me with her warm personality, vast knowledge, and unwavering dedication to improving my vision. Her expertise and genuine care for her patients are truly commendable. As always, the staff went above and beyond--welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful, making the entire experience smooth and pleasant.

I went for my first eye exam in probably ten years. Dr. Atwood was very thorough and professional. She answered any and all questions and was very helpful. She even explained in detail how distance correction can impact your close up vision when I asked how that works. The office staff was very helpful and patient and helped me pick out frames that I liked and my insurance covered. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. My only issue was that Saturday appointments are booked way in advance so I had to wait for an appointment to be available, but that just shows how popular they are! I wish Dr. Atwood many years of success. She is a very personable and professional eye care provider and really knows her stuff.

The staff is very friendly. Dr. Atwood has some big shoes to fill from Dr. Ellison, but she is doing just fine. The equipment seems to be state-of-the-art and I felt like my eyes were well taken care of. I would highly recommend Bethalto Family Vision.

Staff is extremely helpful. Super clean environment. They are taking every precaution to protect clients against the virus by limiting patients, taking temp at door, wearing mask and cleaning all areas. Mark Ellison your the best I never feel rushed and you aways answer any questions I have.

I went here first in May after getting facewash in my eye and being unable to open it (corneal abrasion). The staff was very nice and prompt at getting me seen and treated! I recently took my 9 yo daughter. I was in a zoom class at the time, the staff completely understood and they talked to my daughter with so much respect (I try to allow them to have autonomy with their healthcare). It was an over all a great experience.

I have been to Bethalto Family Eye Care twice and will be my first choice in eye care. The scheduling was easy and accommodated my schedule not theirs. Very professional and friendly staff and Dr Atwood explained exactly what tests she was performing and what they were for. I was never under pressure to buy anything from them and left with the satisfaction of having a complete and thorough examination. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of eye care.

I made an appointment for a visit to get follow-up care after a stroke. Dr. Atwood and her staff were amazing. I live in Florida and have been in the area for medical care. They had no problem getting me in after a cancelation, even knowing I wouldn't be a permanent patient. I would highly recommend this office for your vision needs.
