Horrible. Staff were. Nice enough but they couldn't get the equipment to work right. I severely disappointed in the doctor. He was cold compassionless and just wanted to rush me out the door. Blamed My vision problems on all my years of smoking even tho I quit. 11. Years ago ago. Didn't. Get. My health stats correct.

Worse Dr I have ever seen. Had retinal surgery and was in so much pain during surgery he did not care Bad bedside manner and makes his office people Stay in the room during office visits.

After losing vision in my left eye and being ignored by multiple doctors and specialists for over a year, it was a relief to be referred to Dr. Gandhi by my optometrist. Dr. Gandhi's office made space for me to see him immediately, and through experienced review I had surgery three days later to repair and complete retinal detachment with mac off. It has been six months since my surgery and my vision has been restored to about 20/80 with a corrective lens, better than was expected at the time of surgery. Dr. Gandhi is clearly methodical, strategic, and thoughtful in his approach. His empathy and compassion shines through his desire to give his patients the best outcome possible. I knew he meant it when he said, "I am going to take care of you." He is hands-down the most capable surgeon in east central Illinois, if not in the state. I may be biased, but my chances of a complete recovery were limited because of the failure of others in the industry to diagnose a textbook retinal detachment. Dr. Gandhi took a complete mess of a retina and through his skill and talent repaired my eye and restored my vision. It is with complete confidence that I recommend Dr. Gandhi and his team.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gandhi for almost two decades. He and his staff have always been caring and professional. Dr. Gandhi takes time to get to know his patients, is a great listener and stays at the forefront of research in his field. I am thankful to have him as my doctor.

Really happy with the care I have received from Dr. Gandhi. I was referred to him from my optometrist when I was having a sudden loss of vision in my left eye. He immediately diagnosed the condition as Serous Retinopathy and began my treatment that day with an eye injection. As you can imagine, I was very nervous about a shot to the eye, but Dr. Gandhi assured me he knew what he was doing, explained that he gives multiple eye injections everyday, and walked me through the steps. Now four eye injections later, my sight is back to normal and my treatment regimen is almost complete. Trust that you are in great hands at Retina of Illinois.

Dr. Gandhi did a retinal repair. I begged him several times to stop that the pain was excruciating. He ignored my wishes and just kept telling me which direction to look. He tortured me. It was the end of the day and he had already let the office staff go home. He had no compassion whatsoever for what he put me through. Michele Usinger

My mother was a patient with Dr. Ghandi when he was at Carle and as soon as he returned to Champaign with Retina of Illinois she switched back to him. He is an excellent doctor, his staff is friendly and helpful. They are a very busy practice so they do not have time to sit and chitchat however, they are very personable and I would trust no one else with my mother's eyes.

He is an outstanding Doctor !! When operating he doesn't listen to music nor have conversation, how do I know, because I was coming out of the Twilight sleep and said to the anesthesiologist .where is Doc Ghandi , Dr Ghandi said I don't talk during surgery. He is totally taking care of you .!!
