Village Eye Care

My husband was excited to try a local eye care office, especially as a first-time glasses wearer. My family goes here and has had positive experiences, so we truly thought this was the right choice. We also really wanted to support a local business, which makes this experience even more unfortunate. Unfortunately, his visit was disappointing. The bedside manner felt indifferent throughout the appointment, and the provider seemed offended when he asked questions about different lens options. He left the visit feeling uncomfortable and not very confident. He has since received his glasses, but they don't feel quite right -- they just seem "off," if that makes sense. Looking back, I wish we had gone to a specialist in Peoria, especially for someone new to wearing glasses.

Doctor is awesome! Linda is just the sweetest & most helpful!! And Findlay is the very best good boy ever!!!! We drive an hour to go specifically to Village Eye care!!!

Nice lady but my appointment wasn't in the book when I arrived. The doctor accepted no blame. "You called the other doctor in town." "We don't take appointments that far in advance." I won't be driving from Peoria to Chillicothe anymore for her services.

I went here based on a recommendation from a co-worker because she is in our network. I have always been very sensitive about my eyes being touched(took me FOREVER to be able to wear contacts). DR. Sarver touched my eye & I didn't even realize it until after she had done it, she was so incredibly gentle. She is very patient & took the time to make sure my prescription was correct. I highly recommend her & I definitely feel it's worth the drive from Peoria!

A small-town, relaxed atmosphere, but still very professional. Dr. Lori is all that I hoped for in a new Eye Doctor! She is meticulously thorough and clearly wants my vision at its absolute best. I feel confident that my eyes are under the very best of care and recommend Village Eye Care heartily! 5+ stars : ))

Dr. Sarver is the best! Very professional and knowledgeable in her field. Always makes me feel like I am her only patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing an optometrist. She is the real deal!
