Service is insane. I say that confidently because of how genuinely caring and kind the staff here is. Ive came here for years and advise everyone to come here as well. The staff treats everyone here as family and I can tell they have passion for their work. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable and make you satisfied with your purchase.

I had a great experience at this office. Both the doctor and the reception staff were so nice and incredibly helpful. They took great time and care throughout the entire visit. The whole process felt very thorough and welcoming! I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for attentive and friendly eye care. We will be back!

Welcoming, compassionate, selfless service that have me feel like I am with trusted friends. Dr. Makoni's humility is demonstrated in the way her cheerful, empathetic examinations and swift assessments are delivered with the purpose of ensuring ample time is banked to explain my vision status to me. This skill seems to be performed without effort. I believe Dr. Makoni is brilliant and quick, kind and concise, devoted and genuine which leaves me feeling comfortable, valued, respected, unhurried, and enlightened. Despite having decent insurance and financial security, I have never felt any attempts to sway me toward products or services I didn't request or find ideal. Gracjana has a keen eye for helping me choose frames to suit my personality and appearance. When she detects early on that I am in a stubborn frame of mind, Gracjana provides smiling, professional service in a way that seems she silently wishes I would take her suggestions because she (rightly) knows my choices will be regretted... and it likely pains her to know I will be displeased with my choices later. What I have experienced here was refreshing in the way that four other practices over a couple decades missed in bits or entirely: - explain findings while advocating healthy choices - respect my time and value me - demonstrate compassion; advocate for those in struggle; charity and kept dignity are not mutually exclusive - patience, acceptance, respect, and professionalism; I am inspired by these ladies to do better!

Clarity Eye Service has been great to work with. Dr. Makoni is attentive and takes time to explain everything about your eye health. The team never tries to upsell -- they genuinely care about their patients. Graziana is also amazing! She's so knowledgeable about insurance and helps you get the best deal, plus she has a great eye for style and always helps me pick out the perfect frames. We used to live nearby, but even after moving 40 minutes away, my husband and I still make the drive because they truly take care of you. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Makoni. She has such a calming, serene presence that I felt like I had just been to the spa after my visit! She and her staff really care about their patients. Dr. Makoni went out of her way to help me resolve a complicated insurance issue. I have needed glasses for most of my life, and have never had such a great experience as I did here. She has a patient for life.

I love this office. The staff is so very friendly and helpful. I had issues getting used to wearing glasses, because my prescription is mostly for reading. I had never worn glasses before I turned 50. Dr Makoni Was the third doctor I saw. She got my prescription perfect and was so patient with me. I sent all my friends here, I couldn't recommend more.

My husband and I started seeing Dr. Makoni after college. We found her by accident and at that time were driving 30 minutes to our annual appointments because we just loved the care and compassion she had for her patients. Fast forward 10 years and a move later and we now make an hour drive to have our eyes checked yearly. Gracjana and Dr. Makoni are a wonderful team that have our whole family smiling from appointment start to end. We could not have hoped for better eye care service. We highly recommend seeing them for all ages.

Fantastic service from the beginning to the end. I suddenly experienced numerous black floaters in my left eye and Clarity Eyecare was able to squeeze me in same day. They did multiple tests and recommended I go to a retina specialist and they were able to get me a same day appointment at the Specialist. I recently went to my annual eye exam for glasses and contacts at a doctor in Lake Zurich and I explained to that doctor that my left eye has had very bad vision, basically one big blur regardless of the rx prescription. She disregarded my concern and said sometimes complications arise and an old lasik procedure may have caused some scar tissue. She never mentioned taking the next step to see a specialist. My eyes are very important in my line of work and I am so relieved that a good doctor verified my concern and the need to do a B scan to check on fluid build up and why I have so many floaters. I highly recommend Dr. Makoni-Savanhu for her thoroughness and the time she took to dig deeper into my problem. The office is beautiful and clean, her assistant Grace is kind and attentive. Great doctors are hard to find and I'm so glad I was treated by an expert. Update: I saw the Retina Specialist on Monday and they needed to do emergency retinal repair surgery same day. I truly appreciate Clarity Eyecare for being proactive in my healing and having the connections to get me the help I needed quickly which helped save my left eye. If you are debating on going to a doctor, remember they are not all the same. Go to the best, your eyes are worth it and very important to your livelihood.
