Stauder Family Eyecare

My kids and I sat in their waiting room for AN HOUR before anyone was seen. This was after we waited 2 months for an appointment. I have no idea about the eye Drs here, because I have yet to see one, but I do NOT recommended unless you have nothing else you need to do that day. I can't respect a clinic that doesn't respect my time.

We were there for 2 hours and got there as soon as they opened. The doctor has no patience for kids whatsoever. Don't recommend especially if it's for your child.

I have gone to Dr Stauder for many years, and he is just an all around awesome human being. So good at what he does, and so freaking FUNNY. He has me laughing non stop with his quirky sense of humor. The staff has always been equally pleasant, in my experience, and I've never had issues with getting quick adjustments on my glasses. Now, there's only a couple of downsides to this establishment, that has led me to seek secondary care. One, the appointment time can be booked quite far out, so if you need quick appointments, you're kind of sol. Second, their frames run quite pricey, even WITH VSP insurance. And orders take longer than my other eye doctor, to receive. But so do most eye doctors. So you're better off getting your scrip, and going through online websites to purchase your lenses, and frames. Zenni is an excellent one I recommend. But if I had to choose between Stauder, and my backup eye Dr, I'll pick Stauder. He's just the overall better at what he does.

I wouldn't even give them one star!! They messed up my Dads glasses (twice now) and when he was able to come back in they were rude and had too many patients scheduled at the same time. We told them his wheelchair shuttle had to leave at a certain time and the receptionist acted like oh well....it's only one doctor. Well then MAYBE YOUR DOCTOR NEEDS TO QUIT SCHEDULING SO MANY PATIENTS IN THE SAME TIMEFRAME!! Our time is valuable too and we should not have to sit for hours to be seen. Not to mention it's not handicap accessible.

So Far so good. Customer Service was excellent coming to make my appointment. I'm looking forward to seeing the eye doctor. Will provide updated review upon my experience with him. I anticipate it will be a very positive outcome. Everyone take cae and Stay Positive!

My kid lost his glasses moving up here and needed a replacement. Had the prescription but they wouldn't use it, said he needed to be seen and next new patient appointment was 3 months from now. I just needed to get my kid new glasses. Health care run around sucks.

Staff was friendly and helpful. This was the best eyecare experience I have ever had. They didn't try to push unnecessary expenses. Great prices

Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Was in and out in a quick time.
