Shopko Optical Dixon Illinois
The dr is great Amanda and Heather are amazing but Holly is rude. She called me to let me know my glasses were there and I told her I'd be down tonight to pick them up she says ok well make it before 5:45 as that's when we start closing up shop. When I worked there if I or one of my coworkers would have told a customer they needed to be there at 545 when we closed at 6 because that when we start closing up shop we would have had a write up coming. Very unprofessional. I get it that we all want to get out on time but im just picking up glasses not getting a whole new exam. Im sorry if im an inconvenience to you when I cant get there before 545.

The doctor is not patient-friendly. She makes you feel inferior when asking a question and is dismissive of concerns. She never discussed the results of the testing-- even with questions regarding the optical imaging. When reading the card, it was taken away and I was told to just grab my phone. I told her I had my font larger on the phone... didnt care about that, just said that I read it 'good enough'. That's not why I was there, I wanted better than good enough. Very dismissive when trying to find the right prescription... she gave up after 2 attempts. My phone calls were never answered....frustrating.
I am upset that I wasted my one eye visit from insurance at Shopko. I will not recommend this place. I will discourage anyone from going, there are more caring doctos in the area just as "convenient" as Shopko .
