I've been going here for years. Dr. Rice-Kelly is excellent and so is Nancy the optician. Service is great and trustworthy.

Dr. Muna Zarour, OD is very thorough in her exams, and she correctly diagnosed my vision problem. I would recommend going here for a first time visit or if you would like a second opinion. The staff and associates are all very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! They will work with you.

Dr. Rice-Kelly has been fantastic. I've been going here for several years and she's always so pleasant to see and thoroughly explains everything. The front desk staff have always been a bit frustrating with their style of communication and give the impression as if they're being inconvenienced by your presence. I've ignored a lot and dealt with the once/year unprofessionalism to continue seeing such a wonderful eye doctor. This last visit I left more frustrated than ever. I was charged $49 for a routine exam when my copay is only $10. I was told that the one photo machine is extra, yet I never agreed to this additional charge at any point nor was I informed that there would be an additional fee during this visit. Last year when they tried to sell me on it, I said no. I've been told it's a machine that replaces eye dilation, but insurance doesn't want to cover it. I pay for insurance to help with routine exam costs, therefore I will always opt for whatever the insurance is covering without additional cost. There should be transparency around additional charges (when I only scheduled a routine eye exam) and I need to agree to additional charges before they happen. This behavior is dishonest and a scam. Regardless of how much I appreciate the doctor, I can no longer support this unacceptable behavior and will seek out a new eye doctor for the future.

Honestly the best eye doctors in the Chicago area. I have been wearing glasses for a long time and have had at least yearly eye exams for the past 15 years or so. Never have in my life I have come across an eye doctor that devotes this much time to ensure you have the right prescription and knowledge about your eye health.

Northwest Optometric is fantastic!! The kids and I had the most thorough eye exams, and I couldn't be happier. The office is very nice, and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient,. Dr. Rice-Kelly is excellent!!! I have been struggling with issues for my prescription for the last few years, and she was patient with me, and helped me understand what was best. Having just picked up my new progressives today, I am over the moon! Stylish lightweight glasses that work well with my driving, my computer, and reading. She took awesome care of the kids too. I will definitely make this my Optometrist from now on.

Great place to get glasses and contacts! JoAnne and Nancy are the best there is, creating a friendly, welcoming environment. They answered all of my questions! Northwest Optometric's healthcare professionals were very compassionate, efficient, and helpful! The doctor was very thorough, caring, and efficient. She was wonderful and addressed all of my issues. Highly recommend!

Stay away from this place! I rarely write bad reviews but this place is something else. They will try to force you to buy glasses in their store when you go for an eye exam. If you decide to shop around they will be very unpleasant and unprofessional. I had to go back because they 'accidentally ' forgot to fill all the informations needed in the prescription for me to be able to buy glasses somewhere else. Also, they filed the insurance authorization for both frames and glasses even though I told them that I will shop around stopping me to from purchasing them somewhere else trough my insurance.

Dr Rice-Kelly and staff are fantastic! I have been a customer of this office for over 20 years. Dr Rice-Kelly is exceptional in her expertise and will thoroughly and patiently explain your condition. Also a very good selection of eyewear
