I cannot get my prescriptions refiled. Usually when I call I get an answering machine, which tell me to leave a message in a mailbox. When you go to the mailbox, you get a message that it is full call back later, the few times I do leave a message, there is no answer to the message. Twice I was able to speak to a person. That person took down the info and said the prescription would be refilled but it wasn't. I am now out of my glaucoma eye drops after three weeks of trying to get a refill.

Over the last few years, I've had an extremely poor experience with Dr. Jackson at Jackson EyeI. I went to him for years to treat my dry syndrome. At the time they were in the forefront of this condition but now they don't do the common procedures to treat it such as IPL and RF. But my main issue with Dr. Jackson is that he performed cataract surgery on me a couple of years ago and inserted light adjustable lenses. Since then, my near vision has gotten increasingly worse. He refuses to engage with me about what is happening. Dr. Bollinger has tried to help me, but has not been successful. I have contacted the company that makes the lenses (RxSight) and they said they reached out to Dr Jackson but he has not returned my calls. So very, very frustrated and unhappy. He had promised me that after the cataract surgery, I would only need reading glasses for a small print in poor light. Instead, I need them all the time and it is getting worse. This is really impacting my life.

Dr. Jackson canceled surgery with less than 3 hours notice TWICE over the span of 6 months. The original appointment was cancelled when we arrived in the parking lot for said appointment. This was incredibly unprofessional and irritating. The second appointment we called and CONFIRMED the night before. The next morning 3 hours before the appointment the office called and cancelled again. Considering the absolute disrespect towards patients and their time I would never recommend seeing him. The office also NEVER returned a single call. It took months to reschedule the original canceled surgery.

Original appointment made October 14th. 3 separate appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice. Once the appointment was canceled 5 minutes before appointment while sitting in his waiting room. This was for my 77 year old mother for glaucoma testing. The referring doctor said to get tested asap. Now 3 months have been wasted. Run, don't walk away from this place!

This is the most incompetent office I have ever encountered!!!. I have made 3 appointments and they have cancelled them on me all 3 times! First one within 1 hour of the appointment they called to cancel second one they called that morning to cancel because the had moved to a new location never gave me the address I was working never heard of the message till I got there. 3rd time they left me a text message to confirm my appointment never left any other messages that they had cancelled my appointment again because the office was closed in training what in the world ? What kind of incompetent office help do they have in their???? Don't waste your time with this Doctor!!!!! They have absolutely no respect for you or your time!

I've been a patient at Jackson Eye for over 20 yrs. Sadly, Dr Jackson, who is a very knowledgeable Dr and great surgeon, has become a bit of a nightmare as a clinical Dr He tends to be hours behind; if not weeks behind, as he's late coming in and a no show often for both surgery and clinic appointments. This is extremely aggravating! It leaves patients hanging on week to week for needed post surgery adjustments and exams. He has way too many irons in the fire. What with writing magazine articles, pod casts, DJing, writing music, speaking at seminars... it seems to spread his attention a bit too thin. He truly needs to chose a lane. It would be such a shame for this otherwise good physician to go down in flames and take a fantastic doctor like Dr. Bollinger with him. He's had such a great career. He's truly done great things in his field and teaching so many in his field. Please, please make a choice. This is insanity for your patients, and I'm sure for your staff as well. I've recommended him to many friend and relatives over the years. Sadly, I will not be recommending him any more.

I went to Jackson Eye August 3, 2023 for an eye exam to get a prescription for new glasses. I sat waiting patiently for 40 minutes,even though I was one of the first patients through the door! Upon being called into the exam room I was told there's a $75 fee, not covered by my insurance! Stay away from this crook!

Dr. Jackson listened to my concerns. I was very pleased with my initial visit.
