Expert Family Eyecare

Yesterday my two kids first time check the vision with Expert Family Eyecare, Dr. Kanellis was very attentive and did a very professional examination, he found a problem that I, as a mother, did not notice, and Walmart or Costco did not see it too when I did school exams. Thank you very much for a thorough examination of my children, which was fun and efficient. I highly recommend this clinic to all my acquaintances and friends.

Dr. Veronica Kacherova at Expert Family Eyecare is just wonderful! She knows the eye inside and out. This is clearly her passion. She is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and works with people of all ages. I've been going to her for 3 years and I highly recommend her! As a bonus, her office is beautiful, spotless and has a great selection of glasses. Go see her!

My family and I saw Dr. Kacherova previously for our eye exams, and she was very friendly. I also obtained a new pair of prescription glasses that I only wear at night when I drive. I noticed about a month or two ago that the glasses seemed foggy and unclear, but I thought maybe it was the cool air. It was dark out so I couldn't examine the glasses well. I noticed this again last week and saw the lens looked almost oily or greasy, but it was the distortion in the lens itself. There was no residue on the lens. I have never experienced this on any pair of glasses. I have only worn these glasses less than 2 dozen times and only for short car rides. I called to explain this defect and asked for help, and I was told that the glasses were out of warranty due to being purchased 2 years ago. I mentioned that this appeared to be a manufacturer defect or quality issue, and still, the man I spoke to stated it's hard to understand the issue via phone so I decided to bring them in. The woman at the desk mentioned she had never seen this phenomenon before and has no idea what would cause it, but it doesn't matter because there is nothing she can do for me due to the 1 year warranty. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to wait for the man helping another customer (same man who answered the phone). He states that the lens went through heat distortion and caused the lens to curve and create this visual effect. He mentioned that this likely wouldn't have been covered even if I was within the 1-year warranty, so essentially I'm SOL. To further add, I made it very clear during my purchase that I only wear glasses when I drive at night and that they're kept in my car. I was never told that glasses should supposedly never be kept in a car. My car is parked in temperature controlled garage 90% of the time. I've had multiple glasses in both my car and my spouse's car for over a decade - I have never seen this "heat distortion" issue on any of my lens. Luckily I have not tossed my old, outdated glasses from America's Best (that also sat in my car glovebox for years) but apparently their lens quality is superior over what's provided at Expert Family Eyecare. My Expert Family Eyecare glasses lasted 2 dozen light wears and are now garbage. I'm very disappointed did nothing absolutely nothing to help rectify this issue. Be forewarned.

Staff is personable and professional. Dr. Is knowledgeable, professional, caring and very thorough. She is also personable. Office and exam rooms are very clean. Lots of glasses to choose from. I highly recommend these professionals.

Highly recommend Expert Family Eyecare. Dr. Kacherova and Dr. Kanellis are absolutely wonderful. Lupita was so patient with my son teaching him how to put on contacts. Everyone at this practice is kind and very helpful.
