Save your time and go to Clarkson's I was called several times leading up to the appointment regarding my son's eye insurance- I was told that the insurance network was down and they couldn't see benefits but was never told they were out of network. I take the day off work and get there and am told that they still can't see benefits and could I email them something to show what our benefits were. My husband wasn't able to log in at home to pull them up and we were told we would need to pay an almost $70 exam fee when typically it's a $10 copay. I'm also told at this point that they aren't in network but they still take it..,what?!? I said then that if we were out of network and I would gladly reschedule and go somewhere else. About that time my husband had called the insurance and emailed the benefits to me which I forwarded to them and I thought we would be good to go. They called back my son to start his exam. But, It was almost as if the old lady behind the desk thought I was lying about my son's insurance . The older lady behind the desk then calls another office to get around the need for an authorization number and she says something about it being "fishy." She was highly unprofessional and talking very loudly so I could hear most of what she is saying. The optometrist was wonderful which makes me sad that we won't be going back. When we came out from the exam to get my sons glasses we were told he wouldn't be able to get them because they couldn't see what was covered out of network. SOMETHING I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT. so I took a day off work and still don't have glasses on the way for my kid. What a waste....I hate giving money to large corporations and would prefer to deal with smaller businesses but my kid needs glasses and I need to get it done without having to take multiple trips to various places. All of this could have been avoided if they were honest about taking our insurance up front.

Amazing staff, amazing doctor at the location in Litchfield! I encourage everyone to check them out! I have torics and they have been so helpful to find the right contacts for me. They have been amazing to my 5 and 11 year old daughters.

Dr. Schultz was so kind! I will definitely be back! I was also in and out pretty quickly!

Everyone here was so unbelievably kind to me. The eye doctor was fun, the girl that gave me my paper work and a couple tests was sweet, and the girl helping me pick out my glasses was honest about how they looked on me and made me feel good! I loved it :)

Very friendly staff and very professional. Appointment was made very fast and made picking new glasses fun .

The staff was so nice and friendly. They were great with my children. Very clean and organized. It was a great experience. I most definitely recommend them!!

I will continue with coming back to this place. I've never experienced a great place of business like this place. They help you and listen and give options of what looks good and what doesn't. Thank you for getting me in at a short notice!

The staff here is amazing. As someone with really bad eyesight I want a doctor who is going to make sure to listen and take the time to do the exam right. I'm so thankful for such excellent care.
