Marengo Vision Center

Took my kids in for an exam. Ordered extra service on the glasses. My phone was dead I could not put half down at the time. 3 weeks go by and I'm wondering about the glasses. When I called they said they did not order the glasses due to not receiving payment. I asked did anyone reach out to ask for payment she said no! So you let the glasses order sit for weeks without reaching out to the customer. What type of place is this! You let the glasses just sit for weeks. Shame on your customer service team! My family of 5 will go somewhere else that does call backs on orders that have not been completed.

My workplace does business with Marengo Vision Center to purchase prescription safety glasses for its employees up to $125. Sharon helped me. I wanted to choose safety glasses that would be more expensive and would pay the difference in price. She said that I was not able to select any higher priced glasses, but only could choose from the limited selection. I already knew that the rubber nose piece on most of the safety glasses would melt from the machine oil at work. Other people discovered that within 8 months. I asked about getting lenses made by Crizal. I was told no, and that it's just a coating. I picked out the only option that fit me and paid $50 for the no-line multi focal (which isn't reimbursed). Day two of wearing them and they no longer fit without falling down my nose. Walked into the Marengo Vision Center and was told that they can't be adjusted to fit any tighter. I left the office very disappointed by the overall "no can do" experience with Marengo Vision. Frances

My husband, 2 older children and I had appointments to have our eyes checked. The staff here is extremely nice, they helped us find glasses that looked great on each one of us. Dr. Rodriguez took his time examining all of us and listened to our concerns and took his time with the exam instead of rushing through it all. Of all the places that my family and I have been to, this is the most family oriented office and will highly recommend them to anyone needed vision care.

I order prescription glasses last week at the Harvard office. I was advised by the receptionist Jen that my glasses would be ready in 5-7 days. She contacted me 4 days later during the week with good news that my glasses were already ready. I was excited to pick them up because my failing vision was giving me headaches. I advised her I wouldn't make it to pick my frames up because of my late work hours. She said I could pick them up Saturday morning before noon. I made an appointment for 11am to have them fitted. This morning when I arrived there was a "closed" sign on the window. I contacted the Marengo office to see what was going on. Jen advised there was nothing she could do and I'd have to wait until next weekend. I never received a call to offer alternative arrangements. Very unprofessional. Although the eye doctor was great and very informative. The customer service sucks from the receptionist/assistant. When I initially order the frames, Jen was rude and annoyed because I didn't decide immediately that I wanted transitional and or reflective lenses. Horrible experience.

2nd time going here. The receptionist was very nice. Doctor Thomas took his time with my eye exam. Answered all the questions I had. Everyone in this place was welcoming. Definitely recommend this place.

Such a wholesome place! I have never recieved better treatment from an eye exam specialist. I left with so much info on my results & where I could receive other Eyewear options, but the ones they have in store are endless. Such a great little place to have in our community.

I have been going here since I was a young child. My grandparents always came here too and we always loved Dr. Russell! He's always been awesome and incredibly nice. The staff is amazing as well!

Dr. Thomas and the ladies up front made for a relaxed and informative visit. Took no time at all to fill out the single sheet paperwork, and get back to my vision tests. After results, there's no pressure to buy their frames, but they're happy to help find your style. I will be back, along with a few family members to get their tests too!
