Dr. Pine and his staff are amazing!! Before I had my cataract surgery i was loosing hope in life, not being able to see is pretty important! Was recommended to Dr. Pine and couldn't be happier with the results!! Dr.Pine and his staff went above and beyond taking care of my eyes!!! It's so nice to be able to see clearly again and I owe it all to Dr. Pine and his AMAZING team! Most importantly he made me feel like myself again!!!!

Dr. Pine has taken care of my wife's and my eye care for over 10 years. We both have had cataract surgery and were happy with the ability to see colors again. Dr. Pine and his staff are always courteous and knowledgeable.

Not only is Dr pine and all the nurses and staff very friendly but he is very attentive to his patients, he has saved my life on more than one occasion, thank you Dr pine, hands down best ophthalmologist in the area!

I thought Dr. Pine was a wonderful doctor and did well with my procedure and highly recommended him to others but i was very disappointed today! My mom seen him once, last month, and was referred elsewhere for a problem Pine thought she had but it ended up being negative and the results were emailed back to his office last week that cataract surgery could be done safely. I never received a call from Pine's office so i called them back. Now, they say he needs to see her Again, after waiting another 2 months AGAIN, and then it will be ANOTHER 2 months before he can perform the procedure. I could get her in next week by taking her to Springfield and low and behold, now he cant even give a referral, even tho he has seen her before And gotten the notes from the specialist He referred her to first. I highly recommend Sarah Bush get an additional doctor or doctor(s) in there, IF you truly do care about your patients, or improve on being able to refer them to someone who can!! I did not talk to the doc himself but i did his staff, more than once, and i wonder if they would do any better if it were their parent, instead of mine, sitting idle while unable to see !?!?!? SUPER DISAPPOINTING out of someone i used to Highly Recommend in the past!!

I cannot comment to Dr Pine works. He had come highly recommended. However, with the takeover of his office by Sara Bush, it left me disappointed and the feeling of being hit by the gang of 5. I called to get a good faith estimate several weeks before my appointment and a better understanding of what would happen on the day of my appointment. Through numerous calls and work I had an estimate. When I arrived on the day of my medical procedure I was informed of other charges for the facility and copayment neither of these had been mentioned prior, which was a concern and a surprise, which did not help with me being nervous over the procedure since it was being done to prevent potential future blindness. I ask what could be done to ensure the additional fees were covered by my insurance before we proceeded. The original person I worked with on the estimate was willing to help but their front desk person proceeded to explain how my insurance worked, I corrected her stating that what she was telling me was wrong, and that I had been through this with the other person in the office, which was very helpful. At that point the front desk person was firm on correcting me and putting me in my place continuously. Every question I asked escalated and the more people she drew into the conversation. I proceeded to contact my insurance company to ensure that additional charges were covered. I was given the wrong facility address which insurance deem would be out of network. Later the correct address was provided through more questions and my insurance company digging. My overall concern was why wasn't I informed of the fees before the appointment, and I was told that they can't check everyone's insurance. I do agree with this statement, but they should be able to provide what they will bill for the services they render. We have rights to a complete and good faith estimate and pricing transparency. In this situation, I was pretty much told to take it or leave it. By the end of the event it was determine best that the appointment be cancelled. Overall, I was blessed that I had brought my husband, and he saw all that that had occur. In addition, one of the people in the waiting room also expressed concern overall what had happen to me and was willing to speak to it. Overall, we do have rights. More importantly I wanted to ensure that I was not getting into something that I could not afford. Based on the experience I will be filing a complaint with IDFPR. I recommend that you shop for your services elsewhere if you need cost information before you proceed. Hopefully in the long term the issues with the merger will be corrected in the future.

Dr Pine it is a great doctor,very friendly and nice. The staff are great,very loving staff(everyone). Thanks Dr Pine and all the staff for your help and my eye carewith

Dr. Ryan Pine did my right eye cataract surgery today. Praise to all at SBL SURGERY DEPT. A SPECIAL THANKS TO DR. PINE. HE IS AWESOME . NEXT TUESDAY IS NY LEFT EYE & I CANT WAIT.
