Vista Linda Eye Care

I've had some challenges in the past with trying to get a correct prescription and then contacts and glasses. The offices I went to never seemed to get it right so I had to start over. I stumbled upon this little gem and the reviews on yelp didn't let me down. The girls at the front desk and Dr Murray are beyond nice, truly genuine and very professional. They were very understanding and listened to my concerns and did everything they could to solve my issues. They have a great selection of glasses for both adults and kids all at reasonable prices to fit every budget. The staff is very upfront about costs, out of pocket , and they work with your budget on frames/glasses/contacts. In addition, the followup care is exceptional! They are very committed to their patients and it shows. I will not go anywhere else for my optical needs in the future. Thank you to everyone at Vista Linda for a great experience!

Professional, kind, skilled doctor, staff is friendly and makes us feel comfortable during the exam. Very competent and clean office. I have been coming here ever since I moved to Mt Prospect, and will always choose to come here for the reason of they get my prescription right, the exam is thorough, and theyre kind to my children and me. I was here recently for my exam during the time someone came in and complained. They were extremely rude to the staff for whatever reason they had made a human mistake with their appointment time, but this customer blew it completely out of proportion and was very mean to the staff. I was appalled at this customer's behavior. A normal person would have worked it out like a human being. Some people seem to go out of their way to complain. I wish I had not been a silent bystander at the time of this visit. I should have spoken up and told her she was rudely out of line. So here I am, setting the record straight as a sane and good hearted person, because that customer went through on her threat and posted a scathing review here.

The absoluty the worst service i have every had i was literally turned away because they didn't want to do the pre reauthorize from my insurance company which was there job to Do. After talking to my insurance company I was told that only the doctor could send in the per authorize paper work . I truly felt discrimination against . Then I ever had. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

Incompetent from the moment you walk in. If I could give 0 stars I would. called and scheduled an appointment a week ago. I show up right on time and they couldn't find my appointment. Specifically looked to see if I had cancelled or rescheduled- did not populate. Accused me of cancelling and then of saying the appointment was actually the day befire. Not once did they apologize or admit to the mistake. Never going there. Place doesn't look clean either. Addendum: soon after this review manager called trying to fit me back in and said it was an error with the system. Manager was the second associate this morning looking at the system and never making an attempt to apologize then. I understand error or new employee...but admit to the mistake while I am there. Don't continue to accuse me of just randomly showing up or cancelling or going on the wrong day. First impressions are everything. To add another addendum because I can't seem to get rid of them. Not only was the appointment not made on their part, but they pulled my insurance information anyways...thus not allowing me to make an appointment anywhere else. Incompetent to say the least.

Was not happy with the service provided at this location. It took way too long for me to get my glasses, only to find out that when I tried them on, I wasn't able to see, because it wasn't made to my specifications. I then went back for them to fix them, and I have yet to receive them. It's been over a week now. I would not recommend this place.

They helped my son put on contacts his second time trying them there. He couldn't do it at another place but they are brilliant here. I am very happy we go here, and I recommend Vista Linda for everyone.

My son had his school vision exam here. It was our first time at this office. The staff is professional & very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone.

I've been going to this eye doctor for over 5 years. She's great. Dr Murray has taken her time and made sure that my health conditions are not effecting my eyes.
